AS FAR AS I CAN TELL by looking up the case online, the "order to show cause" hearing is on for 9 a.m. today, the court room of the Honorable Judge Blaeser, 6th Floor.
More details later when I have them...

Being the amazing, true-to-life adventures and (very likely) misadventures of a writer who seeks to take his education, activism and seemingly boundless energy to North Minneapolis, (NoMi) to help with a process of turning a rapidly revitalizing neighborhood into something approaching Urban Utopia. My thanks to Jordan Neighborhood Super Citizen Megan Goodmundson for sending this link.
This is what happens when a sex offender tries to move to Armatage. One hundred people pack a building and the sex offender goes away.

We don't have that kind of organization or political power in North Minneapolis. We need a class action lawsuit or some other kind of legal action to keep DOC from dumping all the sex offenders in our neighborhood.
What? No picture?
The neighborhood organizations in SW are actually made up of concerned citizens who are elected by their peers, not a bunch of self-appointed douchebags like in Jordan and Hawthorne. SW gets things done without wasting valuable funds on a housing director (who obviously doesn't do much anyway).
Oh yeah right ANON @ March 24, 2011 9:21 AM, like Jordan and Hawthorne don't have elected officials. What I can't stand are the self-appointed people who live outside of the neighborhood who keep poking their noses in NoMi business.
It's a public blog sweetheart, open to comments from everyone.
You post articles from SW, we get to comment.
