The new issue of Metro Magazine which just hit the racks names this blog to its yearly Top 100, click here for the article. The image above shows a "photo shoot" in the first week of September, where myself and Ed Kohler of The Deets Dot Com had our pictures taken for the article. Ed was also named to the Top 100. Probably the most important thing about the article is "call 311 and join your neighborhood association" if you want to make things better.
Here's a link to information about the Top 100 party, click here. I hope to see many of you there, and I figure there will be enough food and drinks to make it worth the 40 bucks.
Thanks to readers and contributors for helping make this possible. By the way, this blog also made the state's top 100 blogs, click here.

Nice article, Johnny! BTW, what's going on with the movie? Will we be seeing it soon?
ReplyDeleteAs far as I know, all the actual production of the movie is done. The issue is getting funding for distribution. So the short answer is I don't know.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Johnny. You're much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteGood for you, John! I love your blog and respect your wit, humor, imagination, intellect and the thought that goes in to each and every post. Sometimes I worry about your safety, but mostly think you can handle yourself. You're my number one favorite blogger.
ReplyDeleteGo Johnny, Go, GO, GO!!!
ReplyDeleteJohnny Be Good!!!
Pretty soon, you will be right up there with Geraldo, Jerry Springer and Ricky Lake; admired more for the addictive, scandalous content than any professional quality journalistic skill.
ReplyDeleteI say, with a popularity base such as yours, YOU should run for office. Not any neighborhood position, but join the big dogs and see how well you fair. I mean, if you are truly a person who wants to really affect some positive change for this neighborhood, grab the reigns.
That is a great article! I didn't realize it was actually comparing you with someone who will actually work to better his neighborhood, picking up a brush to eradicate graffiti, and you, who calls 311.
ReplyDeleteAmazing.
And I never realized you were kicked off the city council in Grand Forks... Is that true? Could that many people just 'have you all wrong'?
