ReplyDeleteHa, no symbolism there. The door DID have a big chunk missing from one part of it and so having that part visible would have made it look really crummy during the photo op. I'm surprised at you're eye for detail, M. Clinton, in picking that up. If we hadn't done it that way though, a whole lot more folks would be asking why we used such a crummy-looking door for this great ceremony.
