JN-SPAN: Champion and Mullery Endorsed at DFL Convention
Post and video by the Hawthorne Hawkman.
Facing no internal party opposition, Joe Mullery and Bobby Joe Champion were unanimously endorsed at the Senate District 58 DFL convention. This time around, it was a "real" unanimous vote, although the parliamentary procedures needed to get there were so convoluted you'd have thought these two faced more opposition than Higgins.
Since acceptance speeches were limited to one minute, I especially liked Mullery's comments that this was perhaps the first time two lawyers both said something in under a minute.
