Sometimes North Minneapolis Residents Just Want To Go Home. The Problem Is When Other North Minneapolis Residents Decide To Shoot Each Other Up. One Must Navigate The Many Different Crime Scenes, To Simply Go Home. Shooting Last Night Outside Of 1623 26Th Ave North, A Few Feet From The Jordan Peace Garden...

Blog POST by Jordan North…

Very often I drive by the blight of the home at 1623 26th Ave N, filled to the brim with people and pit bulls.  I'm usually driving at a fast clip because I'm not interested in purchasing anything. The home is apparently owned by Home Rentals of Excelsior.

Last night the entire area was lit up with so many police and emergency vehicle lights; it reminded me of time in my childhood. We would get in the car and drive by the big houses, all lit up at Christmas time and ooh and aaah.  Sadly this is the Jordan equivalent.

HOWEVER, do not bring your children!

You won’t find any real coverage of the incident due to that fact that the victim was only allegedly shot a couple of times in the...

...stomach. He is also allegedly refusing to cooperate. At the same time there were approximately ten police vehicles blocking off half of Broadway with miscellaneous guns and people on the ground.
Perhaps his cooperation isn't necessary.

The good news is that shortly before the rounds of gunfire erupted like a Fourth Of July celebration, I was reading how the City of Minneapolis and the Mayor have a NEW and improved plan to deal with gun violence in North Minneapolis. I’m thrilled that someone is trying to do something! I just have one question. When does this start?    http://www.startribune.com/local/minneapolis/259521141.html

We don't snitch. We just die.

  1. Johnny Northside, owner of this blog, continues to be excited and amazed by the contributions of guest author Jordan North.

Readers may note the word POST is in all caps. It may be I was a wee bit overbearing and didactic while explaining the difference to Jordan North about the difference between a "blog" and a "blog post."

  2. The MN Secretary of State business finder lists the address of Home Rentals in Excelsior as 6931 Country Oaks Rd. A separate website, Bizpedia (which I am not familiar with but seems accurate when data is cross-referenced) lists thirteen LLC's as associated with that address. The chief officer of most of those LLC's is a person by the name of Alexander Gorshteyn.

Here are those LLC's, at least one of which seems to be a north Minneapolis address: Liberty Investment Group LLC, Home Rentals, Gf Properties LLC, 2016 Glenwood Avenue LLC, 15598 Garfield Circle LLC, Algo Realty LLC, Algo Realty Incorporated, Algo Realty, Elite Realty LLC, Gorshteyn Enterprises Inc, Gf Medical Transportation LLC, Gorshteyn Law Firm PC, and Tutoodle Inc.

  6. Seriously, another "faux revitalizer" hiding behind a fake name. This bogs just gets more unbelievable every day.

  7. I'm not sure what a bog is, nor am I a blogger. I've never claimed to be a revitalizer. I'm simply a person who bought a foreclosed dump, in Jordan and turned it into one the nicest homes on the block, by myself.

I also do whatever I can, to help others in the area. I'm simply writing about things that directly affect my family, living in Jordan North.

  9. JN, by yourself? Then why is your daddy listed as the property owner?

  10. 1055 is Don Allen and he has spoken in a very disturbing way continuously and with much resentment

  11. I don't know who the commenter is at 10:55 and I don't think you do, either. The comments are indeed bizarre but, of course, all part of a free speech discussion.

  12. In response to the other commenter...

I hate doing this to myself, but...

    WHO is my daddy?

  13. FYI there is a website where you can paste a photo and it uses the hashtag to find the original (or uses) of the photo.
This photo is not of "Jordan North", and is a fake profile.
For all we know it's still John Hoff and another one of his fake profiles.

  14. Oh, wouldn't you love to know.

A half-blind North Minneapolis pit bull on a five foot leash could quickly determine the identity of "Jordan North," but apparently YOU are stumped.

  16. Has anyone seen my blind pit bull and if you have let him know it is okay to be baffled by the complexity of Quantum Physics. I miss my buddy.
