The Ghost Of Gas Leak Past
This one is on my block. I'm guessing the police line came from an old gas leak of the kind which made "Jane" have to evacuate five times (see the story in Minn Post) but, then again, who knows? Its usefulness was long past, so I picked it up as litter.
I wonder if anybody has ever thought of manufacturing "barricade tape" made from corn starch plastic, which is biodegradable and not (Middle Eastern) petroleum-based?
Hey, I'm just saying! Old barricade tape sticks around long after its usefulness is over.
