Why Phone Companies Are Stupid In North Minneapolis
(Photo illustration from Flickr.com)
It's not enough the phone companies insist on making their directories from virgin Canadian old growth forests, but they must also hire idiots who will INSIST on delivering the phone book to...
Every address.
Yes, even if the house in question has shattered windows, no electrical meter, a condemnation order on the door...still the moron driving the truck will dutifully deliver a phone book in a plastic bag...which will keep the phone book dry for about the first week, but eventually the water will turn the phone book to a sodden mess.
One more thing I've got to do...make little signs which say "NO PHONE BOOK."
No, wait. Pointless. They'd surely deliver it anyway.
Well, then, classify this kind of stupidity as littering, with each individual phone book delivery qualifying as a separate offense.
