While documenting conditions at 416 31st Ave. N. after the eviction, I noticed the yellow rose bush from the Polish woman's yard was poking through the fence into the yard of 416 31st. It was like her orderly "beauty yard" of useful domesticated plants was trying to make inroads into the disorderly and savage"beast yard" of weeds, including some which are seriously noxious.
