Being the amazing, true-to-life adventures and (very likely) misadventures of a writer who seeks to take his education, activism and seemingly boundless energy to North Minneapolis, (NoMi) to help with a process of turning a rapidly revitalizing neighborhood into something approaching Urban Utopia. FOLLOW UP: Evannor Haymon, Owner Of 3020 6th St. N. Arrested
Though I don't wish evil on Evannor, we are all hoping to stop the drug activity and prostitution at 3020 6th St. N. and had hoped his arrest might signal the breakthrough we were hoping for. However...
...according to Inspector Michael Martin, commander of the Fourth Precinct, Evannor simply didn't pay a ticket and let it become a warrant. This is not as significant of a development as it appeared at street-level.
Nothing seems to come very easy for us in the eco-village. But the talk of ramping up photographic surveillance continues, and right now there is an effort to round up some suitable signs for posting: THIS AREA IS BEING PHOTOGRAPHED. SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITIES AND VEHICLES WILL BE POSTED ON THE INTERNET.
