Mayor Rybak Calls The Eco-Village "Ground Zero" In A Struggle To Revitalize North Minneapolis (Photo 8)
This is Jill Kiener, who works for Minneapolis city government. When Jeff Skrenes needs something from the city, she is his first point of contact for most things.
When I see this picture, I'm glad Patty Cake, the Polish lady and I made that extra evening trip to the tree farm to make sure everything was presentable. Such a lovely person should never be troubled by the thought of accidentally stepping on a skeletal squirrel barely attached to the oddly-puddled remnants of its fur. Ewwwww.
Seriously, though, Jill was kind enough to talk to somebody I managed to invite to the event, a real estate guy I've dubbed "The Artful Agent." In comparing how St. Paul does business with Minneapolis, he has a lot of ideas for policy tweaks. Jill and The Artful Agent exchanged cards. Maybe something good will come of their meeting.
