The Foreclosure Crisis Hits Even Exclusive Homewood...
During the Johnny Northside movie party a couple days ago, our host Brian Reichow took guests on an impromptu tour of his neighborhood to point out two houses going into foreclosure. The Homewood area of Willard-Homewood is a highly desirable neighborhood, and foreclosures haven't been hitting there in the way they've hit, for example, Hawthorne and Jordan...
All the same, the word is two houses are going into foreclosure: 1111 Russell Ave. N. and 1001 Russell Ave. N.
So if you know somebody who wants a home in Homewood, spread the word. Brian (pictured posing near "The Gates of Homewood") tells me this neighborhood is full of teachers and school administrators, who have somehow formed clusters. There's also a good share of lawyers.
