Joseph Obizor, (Not Pictured) Was Present At Hildbran Murder, Is Another Scumbag With A Criminal Record...

Mug shot, (therefore public domain) of Powell, one of the alleged killers of Hildbran, blog post by John Hoff

Joseph Ensha Obizor was present at the killing of Shabar T. Hildbran, 19, according to authorities and the Minneapolis Star Tribune--which spelled his last name "Obiazor," which is apparently incorrect based on extensive online court records.

Like the two men charged, as well as the man killed, Obizor has a criminal record. Here it is...

Given the fact Obizor was reportedly acting in concert with accused murders Powell and Hunter, but is not charged with murder, it seems likely that Obizor is now "state's witness." No criticism of Obizor is intended by this observation, indeed Obizor may be the sharpest tool in a shed of otherwise dull tools.

  1. The Family of lonnell Javay Powell & tionne Hunter

It is truly amazing to us how you can assassinate the character of these two young men and their entire families based on their previous history and alleged accusations from the victims’ emotionally distrait friends and relatives. The family has notice that nothing had been said related to the character of the young man that lost his life and the young man that survived his injuries. These young men have an extensive history with the law as well. The bible tells you if you live by the sword you will also die by it.
The night in question that lead up this unfortunate event. Was this a house and family that was known for gang activity and underage drinking and the previous gun related incidents and why did the neighbor have to call the police and not the people in the home? Did they have something to hide before the police got there? What is really up with this vigilante justice coming from the newspaper articles? Is a person not innocent until proven guilty? How will these young men ever get a fair trail from the impartial jury of their peers with all this garbage that is being planted in the media?
For example that they don’t even deserve legal representation if they cannot afford an attorney. Is this not a right given to everyone according to the State of Minnesota and backed by the Supreme Court of the United States of America? We realize that there is an election year coming up and that it would look good in Minneapolis Finest could at least solve one serious crime prior to this event taking place.
We also realize that, we do not have the financial resources to call a high profile attorney to call an officer of the law out to the home and make a couple of well rehearsal statements to the media like some folks after they have committed a crime and caused a innocent person to lose their life. We also realize that poor, black and a male in this country is a recipe for injustice and even sometime if you have financial resources. For example if you can send a man to prison for promoting or allowing the maltreatment of animals (fighting of dogs) but by the same token a women can walk around free for killing her three year old child.

  2. You're mistaken when you say "nothing has been said related to the character of the young man who lost his life." I did, in fact, write a blog post about Hildbran's record.

As for the young man who "survived his injuries," what is his name? If I have his name, I will happily look into his criminal record, if he has one.

As for "innocent until proven guilty," that is a legal standard applied in court, not a standard applied to journalists. Journalists are free to print all the facts they can find. If it paints a picture of the accused being guilty, well, maybe it's because they are...

    well...

    what's the word...

    GUILTY AS HELL??!

As for your last statement, about the woman "walking around free for killing her three-year-old child," by which you mean the case down in Orlando and the death of little Casey Anthony...

She may have beat the court, just like OJ Simpson beat the court, but it seems like her punishment will come from society, not the court. I agree, Casey Anthony is guilty and it was an injustice. That case has little or nothing to do with this case, unless you're pointing out that money and a high powered attorney can get you out of legal trouble.

Yes, sometimes it can. And it's an injustice. But that's no excuse for thug behavior and a criminal record.
