Farmpeddler1 has been helping me out a lot lately, emailing photos with brief explanations. The photos tend to focus on the theme of a neighborhood rapidly changing. Farmpeddler1 documented the pile of rubble remaining after the fire, then the rubble being picked up and hauled away.
Now we see an excavation deep enough to uncover mammoth bones, if they are there.
It's exciting to see an unsightly heap of crap dealt with relatively quickly in North Minneapolis, instead of hanging around month after month, year after year. If anybody knows what's planned for that location, please comment.
