A teeny weeny article in the Star Tribune announces there has been an indictment of a third suspect in the murder of Rayjon Gomez, age 13.

Kemen Lavatos Taylor II, whose most recent criminal conviction in 2009 showed him to be a resident of Robbinsdale, was named in an indictment in the killing of Gomez. Here is info not available anywhere else about Taylor's criminal background...

Taylor is currently sitting in jail with 2 million dollars bail on the murder change, and also bail of $50,000 on a weapons charge. It appears he has been in the jail since August 9. His address is listed as 4100 Shoreline Drive, Robbinsdale, Minnesota.

The name "Kemen Taylor" comes up in some interesting ways. There is a guy with the same name (unknown if it's the same guy) who spoke at a public hearing in June of 2008 and lambasted the police because of "run ins" his family had with the police, click here for Strib article. Here is the relevant quote from the article.

A tearful Kemen Taylor said he wouldn't stand a chance then in complaining to the unit. Taylor's family had two run-ins with police outside their North Side home on Sunday, he said. His wife and son had guns drawn on them and were put in handcuffs after officers thought their sport-utility vehicle was involved in a nearby shooting.
He was later put in handcuffs and then into a squad car after officers returned to his house to accuse him of setting off illegal firecrackers. He was later released.
He told Tegeler that he came to the meeting to hear a call for action but instead left feeling frustrated and helpless.
"I've wasted my time here because I want change," Taylor said. "We're here because we're tired of this. We want change and justice. Now!"

And, notably, this Kemen Taylor appears to be the same miserable lowlife who used 2223 Bryant Ave. N. as his address on the jail roster when arrested over allegedly possessing some very serious weapons, click here for article. This is the house across the street from my own house where my front security camera is directly pointed.

Gee, I really hope the prosecutors can make this indictment stick.

  1. No mention that he was shot by mistake. That's very interesting. No mentioned of the guilty plea. People's truths
