According to a criminal complaint by Hennepin County prosecutors, click here, a man named Chase Daymonejeffrey (sic) Dent-Wells was not a very good boyfriend. He was so bad, in fact, that when a young woman dumped him Dent-Wells proceeded to trash her on Facebook, call her repeatedly, and sent angry text messages.
Dent-Wells showed up at the woman's home at 4 in the morning and knocked on a downstairs window, asking to be let in. The young woman let him in, probably figuring Dent-Wells just wanted to talk and, well, there had been a time when they had a thing for each other, obviously...
There were, however, a number of reported instances of domestic abuse by Dent-Wells against the woman, whose initials are P.A.M. So letting him in was a terrible idea.
The young woman's father heard noise and came downstairs with a gun in his hand. When the father saw Dent-Wells, the father told Dent-Wells to leave. But Dent-Wells refused to leave and, for good measure, adjusted the gun in his waistband.
The father fired two warning shots to make his point but instead of leaving, Dent-Wells pulled the gun from his waistband. The father shot Dent-Wells twice, and Dent-Wells went down.
"This is not over!" Dent-Wells said, while laying on the ground, bleeding.
The father walked over, picked up Dent-Wells' 9 mm pistol, and placed it in a drawer. The father then placed his own gun on top of a counter and called police. The father's weapon was a .22 pistol. When police arrived, they took both pistols.
The complaint notes the defendant has two felony drug convictions and is ineligible to be in possession of a firearm.
Nominations for Father Of The Year, anybody?
The shooting happened in Brooklyn Park but Dent-Wells reportedly resides at 1811 Morgan Ave. N., a single-family property owned by a relative with the same surname of "Wells."

Dent-Wells should be imprisoned for a long time for having the gun, but I fear he won't. He's already proven himself violent. Both father and daughter are in danger while Dent-Wells is on the street.
ReplyDeleteLesson learned, use a .45.

ReplyDeleteHad dad had a better home protection weapon such as a 9, 40, or better yet a 45, prison would not be an option.
ReplyDeleteten to one next time daddy blows his fucking bitch head off and delivers it in a box to his mama
ReplyDeletetell your daughters not to date saggy pants thugs.
