Further Details About Arrest Of Dominique Sinkfield In "After Hours Club" Double Homicide...

For weeks, JNS blog had the story all to itself about the arrest of Cory J. Bryant in a double homicide at an illegal after-hours nightclub, with alleged co-conspirator Dominique Sinkfield not known to be in police custody. It wasn't clear if Sinkfield was on the lam or a cooperating witness.

Now, mainstream media is reporting Sinkfield under arrest and in custody along with Cory Bryant. But JNS blog still has details nobody else has...

Click here for the actual criminal complaint.

Turns out Sinkfield, also known as "D-Bo," was indeed a fugitive and reportedly fled the state. But he was apprehended and...

...is now in Hennepin County Jail.

On the criminal complaint, which is nearly identical to the complaint against Cory Bryant except for having Sinkfield's information on it, Sinkfield's home address is listed as 5700 73rd Ave. N. N 217, Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. However, on the jail roster his address is listed as "Bradley Apartments, St. Paul, 55429."

Sinkfield's bail is a million dollars over the alleged murder, plus another $100,000 over a weapons charge. There are additional charges listed of marijuana possession in a "not small amount" and violating a no-contact order, allegedly.

Sinkfield is innocent until proven guilty.

OH, LOOK!!!!

Flying unicorn.

  8. First defendant guilty in after-hours club double fatality

One of the two shooters at an after-hours club last year pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was immediately sentenced to 104 months in prison, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman announced Wednesday.

Dominique Deshon Sinkfield, 25, of Brooklyn Park, had a second-degree murder charge against him dropped. He also has to serve the rest of a sentence for a probation violation. He received credit for 263 days served.

Sinkfield admitted to Hennepin County District Court Judge Tamara Garcia Tuesday that he shot and killed Demetrius Harper, 32, of Minneapolis in the early morning of March 8 at an after-hours club at 3859 Fremont Ave. N.

Sinkfield was offered the lesser charge in part because he had grounds for a self-defense case. While prosecutors were prepared to rebut that claim, it raised the real possibility that a jury might acquit and he would serve no time for a crime he now admits he committed.
“I’d like to say I’m sorry to the victim’s family,” Sinkfield said when it was his turn to speak. “To my family, I apologize.”

Cory Bryant, 28, of Minneapolis, is scheduled for trial later this year for the same incident in which he is charged with killing 23-year-old Minneapolis resident Erick Felton.

Just days after the shooting, the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office issued a Notice of Nuisance to the owner of the building at 3859 Fremont Ave. N., demanding that the after-hours club and other nuisance activities end. The landlord boarded up the building until he was able to rent it to a church, which now holds services there.

  9. It's crazy but if you lead or follow in the wrong path this is where your life ends. I went to middle school with Dominique and his nick name "d'bo" matches his character since day one. Remember D'bo from Friday was the neighborhood bully; and this guy was most interested in skipping class and fighting people half his size. Now he's a statistic... people raise your kids to be gentle men and women with class and stop idolizing actors who calls themselve gangstas. Real gangstas ends up dead or in jail at a young age. Our people are competing in a world where things can be stacked against us but many times we do it to ourselves.
