A recent blog post I wrote about a "conduct crackdown" on landlords in the Fourth Precinct has proved surprisingly popular with a number of my readers. Unfortunately, the letter document was sent to me as an image, not a PDF, and proved difficult to link through Google docs.
Well, here is my solution. The letter is visible above, page one and two, as an image.
Enjoy, JNS blog readers, and I hope it proves quite useful.
This is not a crackdown on landlords, as you have implied. It is a crackdown on the behavior of tenants. Try reading the letter, John.
ReplyDeleteI think it is a crackdown on landlords and it's been a long time in coming. It's the landlords who allow it. It's the landlords who are receiving these letters. Now, I think "Landlord Crackdown" describes it quite well but the letter is presented in whole and speaks for itself.
ReplyDeleteWell, it is a crackdown. If you read it, it states if they can get the rental liscense revoked and really if they dont keep the tenant in check if the tenant cant keep themself in check ultimately the lanlord pays the price so yes, I am sure his statement is correct. "Landlord Crackdown"
ReplyDeleteYessss! About time. Now, I hope we can get some follow through.
ReplyDeleteThis COTP is already working with responsible landlords. The property management from the rental house next door to me has asked about the disturbing, unlawful behavior from there & has requested weekly updates. Thank-you for sending the documents again John.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous 9:19 PM. I for one don't care if it's a crackdown on the behavior of tenants or a crackdown on landlords as long as the ghettoness of both parties is addressed.
ReplyDeletehas this letter been sent to Urban Homeworks? if not, it needs to be.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, Urban Home Works! The Jesus based church organization. I was not going to mention it, however, since you have, I will say everyone should check out the "lookouts" that sit in the driveway of 2902 Bryant Avenue North (owned and operated by Urban Home Works). There are four unsavory looking characters sitting, standing, and walking around checking out the traffic in the morning and in the late afternoon. I think they are involved in "pushing" more than the parables of Jesus on their corner. The Minneapolis Police Department has been notified.
ReplyDeleteblacks hiding behind jesus? your kidding me I thought they meant it when they say have a blessed day. the nerve to fool all of us. bad boys
