A number of mainstream media outlets reported on a community meeting that took place about a month ago on the issue of citizen outrage over Level Three Sex Offender concentration in North Minneapolis, click here for an example of the media coverage.
The highlight of the meeting may have been the moment when Jordan Neighborhood resident Dave Haddy, who (along with his wife) is the father of a young child, read a position paper summarizing the concentration problem with hard data. The data was compiled by Denny Wagner, who is the Jordan Area Community Council (JACC) go-to guy on this issue.
Here is a link to Dave Haddy's paper, click here.
In a surprising development, this blog can report the number of sex offenders in the 55411 zip code has miraculously decreased from an apparent all-time high of 36 to a total of 32. This is still a ridiculously high number, but today is the first time EVER I can report actual progress on the overall numbers issue since 2008 when I first started beating this issue.
Here is a list of all the L3SOs listed in the 55411 zip code as of this moment...
Stay tuned for further developments. Like a pit bull, this blog has its teeth in the ass cheeks of this issue and won't let go.
