Meranda Jean Erickson (DOB 2/11/84) was present at the recent homicide of fugitive Landon J. Pederson, whose last address was Swift County, Minnesota, but she is NOT charged in his death.
She is, however, charged over a lpistol-brandishing crime spree which is described quite colorfully and in detail in the criminal complaint, click here.
According to police and prosecutors, the incident happened on March 27 when police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Sheridan Ave. N. on a report of a shooting. When officers arrived...
...they spoke to an adult male (not named in the complaint) who said he was in the living room of his home, with his little nieces (six and four) and another female. There was a knock on the door and it was none other than Meranda Jean Erickson, who forced her way inside despite the attempts of the other female to prevent her.
And THAT, my friends, is burglary right THERE.
Once inside, Erickson allegedly engaged in an argument and then PULLED OUT A PISTOL, exact type unknown though it was a short-barreled revolver.
"Who's the bitch now?!" Erickson kept saying, as she waved the pistol around. The criminal complaint uses the incorrect "whose" form in that quote, which has upset me terribly, but it's crystal clear to me that Erickson meant the contraction for "who is" and not the possessive "whose."
I'm sure it is clearer to me than it would be to Erickson herself, but moving on, folks, nothing to edit here, moving on...
At one point, Erickson pointed the gun directly at the "known adult male" and fired a shot but, like most Northside thugs, can't hit the correct target even at short range. She was within FIVE FEET of her target and didn't manage to hit him. She was also within five feet of the two small children.
The male thought, at first, he'd been shot but soon realized he hadn't. The two women started to catfight outside the house, mmmmmmrrrrrrrrrrrrow!!!!!!!
At this point, disconcertingly, the criminal complaint switches over to the perspective of the female who was grappling with Erickson, going back in time to the beginning of the dispute. It appears that Erickson was "arguing and calling her names on Facebook." The complaint states the other female has known Erickson for all her life.
What was the argument about? According to the female it was about "a lie and a rumor about (Erickson's) husband."
Hmmmmmm.
Erickson (according to the female) pulled out the gun and began yelling, "Who's the coward now?" (Once again, the complaint has the disconcerting grammar error between "whose" and "who's," which I have corrected in the previous sentence)
Meranda then allegedly fired at the male, while the other female threw herself over the children to cover them from gunfire.
This brings us back to the moment in our story when the two females began grappling. Reportedly, Meranda dropped the gun but she picked it up again, saying, "You better watch your back because I will be back if you call the police and they don't catch me first."
Or, to put in another way, "Snitches get stitches."
On the criminal complaint, Erickson's address is listed as 2007 Russell Ave. N., which is a rental owned by slumlord Mahmoud Khan JUST LIKE THE HOUSE AT 2401 Ilion Ave. N. where the murder of Landon J. Peterson took place.
What's the deal, here? Slummy tenants of a feather flock together?
Anyway, it would appear the police caught her first and now Erickson is being held on bail of a quarter of a million dollars.
Maybe she can ask her slumlord Khan for the money.

Meranda had a Facebook account. She must have been an Ivy League student. Maybe she understands the difference between "whose" and "who's" after all. She may even have taken after the other female for crimes against grammar and syntax. Was she heard to say anything like "Git yo ass back to MySpace, bitch" ?

ReplyDeleteDo these grown women have nothing better to do with their time than freak out over facebook nonsense? If only they spent half the time they spend posturing & defending their honor from other bored losers, actually WORKING toward becoming a non-loser with better things to do with their time...
ReplyDeletewhy is she not being charged with the murder ?
ReplyDeleteWell, I think it has a great deal to do with who IS being charged with the murder and the story Meranda tells about that incident, and the degree to which her story holds together. She's being charged with stuff but, as you can see, murder isn't one of those things.
ReplyDeleteC u Iin hell bitch : )
