Marlon R. Robertson, a/k/a Marly Snapback, Accused Of Murdering Kevin Braziel, THIS IS YOUR THUG LIFE ON FACEBOOK!!!!

Facebook photo, used under First Amendment Fair Comment
and Criticism, plus public safety, blog post by John Hoff

Marlon Rashaad Robertson is accused of the murder of Kevin Braziel, who was known as Kevin "So Icy Jakk Boy" On Facebook, clearly a nickname Kevin picked HIMSELF like the small child in "The Pursuit of Happyness" who decided his nickname was "Hot Rod."

This blog previously noted Marlon Robertson was "Marly Snapback" on Facebook and directed readers to his page. But I promised to share more photos and so this blog post is the fulfillment of that promise...

Here's another photo fetishizing money. Note the (alleged) Gucci brand belt. Also note how there is a shoe in the photo. Shoes are very important to Marly and even play a role in the criminal complaint, where he was identified due in part to his distinctive shoes.

But Robertson has all kinds of distinctive shoes, most very expensive. Heaven knows where he GOT all those shoes (fell off a truck? cough cough) but his Facebook page looks like an online apparel catalog.

Here are just a few photos shared by Marly.

In regard to this shoe, Marly writes "Only $149.99."

Personally, I prefer fine Italian made leather dress shoes, purchased at the Salvation Army for no more than $6.99 but hey, that's me.

Here's more shoe action:

Even think how "Pikachu" kind of sounds like a ricocheting bullet?

OK, once again, maybe that's just me.

The photo above was describes as "sweet era caps and shoes." Looking up "sweet era" to figure out if it's a brand name or what, I turned up a Facebook page with this identical photo, advertising "sweet era caps plus Nike shoes up to 75 percent off."

Ironically, the site includes the admonition, "Shop Till You Drop."

In any case, Marlon had a lot of shoes. Any competent defense attorney will be trying to gain a lot of ground over that "distinctive footwear" assertion by the police. Apparently, Marlon had every kind of distinctive footwear, and a big supply of each, at that.

Below, the obligatory "chilling with a group and throwing hand signs" photo. The indistinct aspect of the photo is in the original.

Making a pun on "In God We Trust," Marly labeled this photo "Squad I Trust." Do any North Minneapolis thugs pour a drink in a GLASS or does everybody just slog it right out of the bottle with everybody else's germs?

Just one more photo of Marly. This is probably the way society will remember him...

  5. It's sad that it's so much hate in this world between blacks! You young men need to grow up. Shooting and killing is not ok. In the end both family's are hurt. Kids are being raised without fathers, I'm sure that's what the issue is with you all! You didn't have a positive role model in your life. I knew the young man that was killed no he didn't have the best upbringing but he sure didn't deserve to be killed. Everyone has a pass! That's exactly why it's called that! So you live and learn. Kevin had the biggest heart any young man could have. So before you go saying he deserved anything! Don't speak unless you knew him! Then you could have seen what type of person he was! I prey that you young men get it together one day! Come together as one instead of killing each other!

  6. These comments on here are just as ignorant as the people doing these killings. Maybe you all should have stayed in school and did something with yourself. Too busy worried about getting a street name for yourself instead of a degree! Your parents should be ashamed of you!
