John Iverson Accused Of Killing A Bicylist, JNS Blog Digs Up His Address...(Not North Minneapolis Related)

Mug shot, therefore public domain, blog post by John Hoff

John NMN Iverson, (DOB 10/16/64) is accused of killing a bicyclist while driving drunk. The mainstream media have this story pretty well in hand but they don't like to print the addresses of suspects while JNS blog LOVES to print addresses...

I know it's not a North Minneapolis story but it's a BIG story and in this case...

Too easy.

John NMN Iverson lives at 2200 Pillsbury Ave. S. which is some kind of apartment building owned by Westbriar Apts Winsted LLC.

The jail roster lists bail of $150,000. But that's not all the roster reveals. Interestingly, Iverson was arrested on February 4 but then RELEASED the next day after 36 hours passed without charges being pressed. (JNS blog sees this all the time with GUN crimes, by the way, and it's ridiculous)

But then on February 7, Iverson was rearrested and bail was set at $150,000. For two days, the man was free as a bird.

Why didn't Iverson get the hell out of Dodge and go start a life for himself trapping beaver in some snowy mountains and living off squirrel jerky? We may never know.

Hey, that reminds me. The other day I heard on Facebook about a squirrel that was observed trying to hide nuts in the fur of a shaggy dog. Don't know why, but thought I'd mention it.

By the way, I can't be the only one who thinks John Iverson looks like the long-lost twin brother of North Minneapolis slumlord Keith Reitman.

  2. He clearly has strabismus, an indicator of mental illness. He was three times the legal limit. Mental illness or not, he needs to spend a long time in prison. Maybe the rest of his sorry life. The young guy he killed recently moved here from Atlanta and was a sous chef. By all accounts, he was a stand-up guy, and his death is a loss to Minneapolis.

  3. Are you posting this out of some kind of white guilt thing you have, or are you just concerned about your appearance to all the folks who think you're racist?

  4. Can't make anybody happy, can I? This story is not much different than other stories about bicyclists killed by careless or intoxicated drivers. I would have written the same story if this guy was red, yellow, or polka dot.
