JNS blog continues to assert, for the sake of my own high blog standards, that I don't have "on the record," diamond-hard smoking gun proof that "Bobby Joe Champion" from the 1987 court case about a Champion Family shoplifting ring is one and the same with the current state legislator of the same name, or that...
..."Willie Wesley" in the story is the same guy who later became a mayoral aide to Sharon Sayles-Belton, or...
Or that "Nona Champion" who was at the center of the Champion Family shoplifting ring in the 1980s is the same woman who was "godmother" to North Minneapolis teen Nehemiah Steverson, who was murdered last summer.

In the article linked above one "Nona Champion," who is described as the "godmother" of Steverson, says the teen was loved by everybody.
So is this "godmother" the same woman who was ripping off electronics from Target in the 1980s as part of systematic shoplifting efforts? Or not? When teenagers end up dead in North Minneapolis, uncomfortable and hard questions need to be asked about who were the people in their life and what kind of an influence were those people?

Interesting collection of posts today, Johnny. I did go look at the FB page referenced in the Bobo posting and his "friends" seem to share many of the hand pointing poses that Navell shared with the mayor. I did see one friend "Eboni ..." that uses the prom photo of Nehemiah Steverson as the page photo. More of the same - posed pictures with liquor, but no actual money or guns. What a tangled web.

Showing a MILLION DOLLAR BAIL? Seems a bit large for just a weapon charge. OK, you've got me interested. I'm not convinced that "Stanifer/Burkhltr" (sp?) needs to be added to the list of crime families, but you never know...the list is surely a work in progress.
Tell me more, anonymous commenter. You haven't shown how any of this "ties in" with Champions or with the Nunns, who only have THREE n's in their name, by the way, not FOUR.

Mostly it's just talk on the streets, but there were a couple other boys there when it happened i guess taytay was playing with a gun and accidentally fired. The only thing that is really on fb is arguments under pictures of nemiah and taytay.
