As most regular readers of this blog know, public figure Ben Myers is many things.
He is, for sure, a failed plaintiff in a lawsuit over which group is the "true leadership" of the Jordan Area Community Council AND in a defamation lawsuit against three members of JACC. He's a criminal defense attorney...not a very good one, judging by what I've seen, but admittedly I've only watched one trial. And he fancies himself to be the Vice Chair of the Jordan Neighborhood, a fact which appears to be true only in the bizarro universe but, hey, apparently there's an opportunity to file ONE MORE LAWSUIT in that regard even though Ben Myers and his fellow "Old Majority" plaintiffs lost that lawsuit.
Now the sordid saga has taken a new twist and Ben Myers can be called one more thing: suspended lawyer.
A source in Jordan forwarded this very interesting piece of info from the website of the Minnesota Lawyers Professional Responsibility Board, along with a pithy comment: Looks like property taxes aren't the only thing Ben Myers isn't paying...
According to information on the website of the Minnesota Lawyers Professional Responsibility Board, Myers law license is suspended for non-payment of fees. Here's a link to the website, click here.

One assumes Myers will simply pay the fees and become un-suspended relatively soon, which may cause the information to change on the other end of the link. So, for the sake of posterity or whatever, here's what the board has to say about Ben Myers as of today, and my apologies because the table is truncated on the right, and I am not sure how to fix it:
