DOC mug shots, therefore public domain, blog post by John Hoff
Billy Nash, who stabbed his wife 70 times in front of their two children (18 and 13) at 2423 Penn Ave. N., is now in prison. I like to publish the mug shots of North Minneapolis criminals...I think it gives a kind of finality to the story, plus it feeds image-hungry Google bots who don't crawl DOC websites.
According to the Minnesota Department of Corrections Offender Locator, Nash can look forward to release in the year 2036, right about the time...
...Libya elects its first female president, 10 new "virtual reality" episodes of "I Love Lucy" are released, and the underwater "chunnel" between Australia and Asia nears completion.
(OK, those predictions weren't on the DOC website, I just added that for flavor)
It is anticipated that Nash will be on supervised release until 2050.
Stabbing somebody one time, or even three times, shows a complete loss of emotional control that could happen to a lot of people.
Seventy stab wounds is, however, just pure evil.
A comment has been rejected which used a racial epithet but made a substantive remark to the effect more blog posts should be written so this guy's face wouldn't pop up every time somebody comes to my blog.
ReplyDeleteI do not consider the poster to be "one of the regular trolls" so I will acknowledge the comment.
My reply to the comment as follows:
Yeah, I'll get on it but right now I have to get in some required gym time in, then sit in a truck behind a "240" belt fed machine gun just yards from where the bomb went off the last time the Taliban hit us.

I don't think so and, actually, I don't think he has a middle name. Here's the Minnesota Department of Corrections info:
