This information comes from the same confidential source who told me the name of Northside's latest baby shooting victim is James Early. Once again, I will warn readers this information is unverified and depends completely upon my source.
And, yet again, I will describe my source so readers can understand what level of confidence I have in my source, which I would put at 94.6 percent. The source is "frequently in the know, in the mix, believed to be reliable and with no reason to lie."
My source tells me the father of a two-month old shooting victim at 2413 Emerson Avenue North is named Isaac Early and he has a criminal record...
My source did not know specifics of the criminal record but merely provided me a name and some other information I'm not sharing yet due to the extreme sensitivity of the manhunt for the 17-year-old alleged shooter.
Looking up the name "Isaac Early" in MNCIS turns up only one individual in the state of Minnesota with that name listed on MNCIS, and that person just HAPPENS to reside in the 55411 zip code.
That person, Isaac Lorenzo Early, D/O/B 4/21/89, has an extensive criminal rap sheet as follows:
27-JV-06-3836 EARLY, ISAAC LORENZO 04/21/1989 03/14/2006 - Hennepin Juvenile Delinquency Felony (Age 16 and Older) Closed Receiving Stolen Property
Guilty and adjudged delinquent. Received probation. Probation was finished in October of 2010. Interestingly, his address was listed as "Lino Lakes," the site of a lot of Minnesota Department of Corrections programs. That first listing is the ONLY listing which wasn't in the 55411 zip code, all the rest were.
27-CR-07-028248 EARLY, ISAAC LORENZO 04/21/1989 05/02/2007 Hennepin Criminal/Traffic/Petty Downtown Crim/Traf Mandatory Closed Pedestrian Ordinance
Guilty. A $50 fine, suspended in light of two days served.
27-CR-08-5011 EARLY, ISAAC LORENZO 04/21/1989 01/30/2008 Hennepin Criminal/Traffic/Petty Downtown Nord, Beryl A. Crim/Traf Mandatory Under Court Jurisdiction Aiding and Abetting Aggravated Robbery First Degree Aiding and Abetting Aggravated Robbery First Degree Aiding and Abetting Burglary - First Degree Aiding and Abetting Burglary - First Degree Aiding and Abetting Burglary - First Degree Aiding and Abetting Assault in the Second Degree Aiding and Abetting Assault in the Second Degree Solicitation of a Juvenile
Yes, those are all part of one set of charges. He pled guilty on counts 1, 2, 6, 7, 8 and the other counts were thrown out. So, for those keeping score, that's guilty of two counts of aiding and abetting first degree robbery, guilty of two counts of aiding and abetting assault in the second degree, and guilty of one count of solicitation of a juvenile. Unknown what the "solicitation" involved, though I would tend to think it was solicitation to commit a crime and not, you know, the usual sexual sense of "solicitation."
27-CR-13-18247 EARLY, ISAAC LORENZO 04/21/1989 06/10/2013 Hennepin Criminal/Traffic/Petty Downtown Crim/Traf Mandatory Under Court Jurisdiction LOITER W/INT
He had a five year prison sentence hanging over his head from this one, but it appears he only did a year in the Hennepin County Workhouse, with credit for 198 days served. He was on probation until...oh, my goodness, do I read that right? Just August 13 of this year. So he just recently got off probation.
This information made me think, hey, this guy was in prison and on probation recently....could his information still be in the online offender locator?
Yes.
Keeping in mind, this whole time, the information sand castle that I am building depends upon two things to be correct:
The name provided by my source is correct.
This is the same "Isaac Early" as the name provided by my source.
According to the MN DOC offender locator, Early is still on supervised release until 4/2/2014, which is a bit later than the information I'm seeing on MNCIS but probably more correct.
There are other individuals (and deceased individuals) with the surname "Early" in North Minneapolis.
Purely for frame of reference about "other people named Early on the Northside," here are three blog postings to those "earlier Earlys."
* Frank Sam Early, victim of car shooting, had cocaine convictions, click here.
* Another Frank Sam Early, blood relation (if any) to the later Mr. Early not verified, tried to argue "pleading guilty shouldn't count if you're high," click here.
* "The Late Mr. Early" sounds like an Abbot and Costello routine, darkly comic commentary on the aforementioned subject, click here.
JN S blog is working to verify information to a higher standard but in the absence of mainstream media giving Northsiders the information they need and want, JNS blog steps up with what I have.
ADDENDUM, 1:23 PM. I am not sure if I missed this the first time, or if something has changed on the MN DOC page for Isaac Early, but at this time his "status" is listed as "fugitive apprehend."

How about the baby mama? Where does she factor into all this?

Keep your windfalls private, especially if your neighbor is a thug.
