Glenn D. Smith, Allegedly Involved In A Back Alley Gang-Related Shooting That Grazed The Face Of A 74-Year-Old Bystander, Has Extensively Documented His Thug Life On Facebook As "Chief Chuck So Iicy (sic) Smith"

Glenn D. Smith is sitting in jail at the moment, charged in a back alley shooting in which a bullet grazed the face of a 74-year-old bystander near 1826 Penn Ave. N. Click here for the criminal complaint. The shooting happened on September 11.

It is alleged that Glenn Danen Smith, pictured above from Facebook where he is "Chief Chuck So Iicy Smith" was involved in the shooting. Police allege Smith and another young guy named Kevin Lamont Johnson were chasing two other young men through the alley, trying to shoot them, when the senior citizen was grazed in the face by one of their bullets.

Smith is now in the Hennepin County Jail on a total of $200,000 bail over four felony charges, all of which involve weapons. Smith came to the attention of this blog in April of last year because he was...

...one of the social media contacts of Donquarius Copeland, who is accused of killing 13-year-old Rayjon Gomez. Click here for that story. Smith is an incredibly prolific user of Facebook, though his documentation tends overwhelmingly toward self-portraits. All the same, his Facebook page is a highly informative glimpse into the world of gang-involved North Minneapolis youth, and if you have a Facebook account and want to check it out, click here. You won't be disappointed.

Smith, who at the time of my previous story about Donquarius Copeland was using the Facebook name of "Chief Chuck Got-Hoess Smith," is now known to be Glenn Smith, accused shooter, based upon postings on his Facebook page by others who have gained access to his account, including the following:

To those who would like to write chuc info....
Glenn d smith id # 2013027705
Located in the public safety building in downtown.no one is on his visiting list but me.so if you would like to visit him u got to write and have him to put you on there.......thanks in advance from him to those who will and middle finger to those who dont.....how you aint know

Another posting, reportedly by his mother (as the previous one may have been by, as well) says as follows:

Went to see my hellraiser today,he told me to tell you hoes to stfu all on his page running off at the mouth aint making no NOISE.aint not 1 of you put a nickle on his books so stop stuntin for fb tryna get some likes beat it with the fuckery.....my lil nigga gonna have what he need long as he got me.

JNS blog has obtained pretty much all the photos I will ever need to inform readers, and will be publishing those by-and-by. But if you want to go right to the source and see what the violent, wasted life of this bound-for-prison youth looks like, well...

Here's my personal favorite.

Check out the extended magazine, for those times when you need to get off a lot of rounds and you may not have time to reload.

  1. Good-looking kid, blessed with a normal name, but he's bound & determined to end up dead, in prison, or dead in prison. What an idiot. Let me guess, his chest tattoo (probably illegal, since it was probably done before he turned 18) reads "Only God Can Judge Me". No, Glenn, we all can judge you, and we all do. Poor Donquarius. Mother was probably way into Donkey Kong.

  2. That many rounds, is that a weapon that would jam with only a half empty clip? Or is it high end? Bought from Cabala's with a full background check and a concealed carry permit in the wallet?

  3. It looks like metal--and chrome at that--and not plastic, usually a clue to something more high end or at least not a cheap piece of crap. Heaven knows I can think of at least one counter example but...

Wait until you see all the OTHER photos I have of this kid posing with pistols.

  4. They are magazines! Not clips!

  5. Lovely 19 from Chicago. This is getting so old. And we pay their fricken rent.

  6. Johnny, please keep those photos coming. They're like that bad accident you don't want to see, but feel compelled to look anyway. There are a few of us out there who don't want to connect with a bazillion other people and not on FB.

  7. I wonder if any of these girls can actually fight. They all pose with extension models of their reckless penises and hold them with the same tender loving care. Very secure future in being a mortician and this young man will be wearing his best and most beautiful dress in his coffin unless he gets cremated alive.

  8. From the photos, it looks like his brother (Jawone Smith) was killed 8.26.12. There's a photo Jawone (Babydog Smith) holding a couple of guns, one looks to be automatic. Then there's another photo of the same guy with an R.I.P caption.

  9. You guys dont even know him or where he came from so call it wtf u want..life is hard in these streets..try living in these streets before you all judge

  10. To the commenter who made the distinction between "clip" and "magazine," you are correct and I have changed "clip" to "magazine." My World War Two era father always used the term "clip" even when describing a magazine and I'm afraid that habit was passed on to me.

I shall endeavor to break myself of that habit.

  11. To the commenter telling me life is hard on the streets and not to judge.

Do you idiots have exactly one response, which is always don't judge, don't judge, don't judge? Well you know what? We're judging all we like and will continue to judge.

Life is hard on the streets? You bet it is. Hard for decent people and innocent bystanders (age 74, walking in an alley) because of these criminal elements. I hope Chief Chuck Many Whores or whatever he likes to call himself gets locked away until that baby face of his sports a full beard and we never see him on "the streets" where we are trying to have decent homes, decent families and a decent neighborhood.

Now excuse me while I work on the sequel to this blog post, the sequel featuring Glenn and guns, guns, guns posing on Facebook like they're ALL THAT. I wonder how Glenn likes jail? Well, he should do well there. He was raised for it all his life judging (note the word) by what his parent(s) allowed on his Facebook.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Maybe Glenn will parrot that "you can't judge" crap right before sentencing. To the judge. Whose job it is to judge.

    ReplyDelete
  13. There is no need to judge. His life is a tragic waste. All you need is eyes to see that. There are thousands like him crawling around the north side and it makes it almost impossible for the rest of us to live here. No morals, no spirit. I look at those photos and I see evil with a baby face. Heartbreaking and so sickening at the same time.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Well u can't lock him up forever he will be out in 5 years so long time my ass...time served ..get you a damn life

    ReplyDelete
  15. We'll see about five years versus more on all those charges. You know your prison sentence math pretty well, do you? Well riddle me this:

What percentage of Chief Chuck Upchuck Up His Chuck So Licey Smith's 19-year-old life is 5 years? Versus that of a 47-year-old man? Even a five year sentence is going to be a long living hell for one so young. And, oh, they're going to LOVE his baby face and his smooth, hairless chest in the pen. It's a terrible, ugly thing to say but it's truth, and this blog specializes in the pure, undiluted variety of THAT, so there it is, anonymous commenter, there it is.

    "How you ain't know?"

    ReplyDelete
  16. NOW LOOK WHAT YOU'RE DOING. You're judging his future parroting of the "do not judge" line to the judge whose job it is to judge. Well, judge me this: Whose job is it to judge the judge?

AH!!! That would be us, right?

So if we are allowed to judge the judge, why can't we judge the one the judge is judging or, for that matter, judge his parroting of "do not judge" to the judge?

Which hasn't happened yet. BUT THERE YOU GO JUDGING SOMETHING THAT HASN'T EVEN HAPPENED.

    "How you ain't know?"

  17. that is not a fucking extendo . HE IS HOLDING IT WITH HIS PINKY .

    ReplyDelete
  18. So he's holding a regular magazine in such a way to make it appear an extended magazine for purposes of the photo?

If so, that's a real nice catch by the commenter.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Thats not an extended magazine he is just holding it where it looks connected to the feeding ramp but it really is about to fall out if he moves his hand, plus it looks like a bryco jennings or a lorcin which are both discontinued companies who never made extended magazine or quality magazines at that. But they are the perfect saturday night special gun. Saw a lorcin 9mm on sale at a gun show for 130 dollars.

  20. Fools I tell ya just plain ignorant fools shoots a 74 yr old man in the face well I know one thing the old man must have been white or you would have his face and criminal history all over this page.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I do not know what color the 74-year-old man was or, for that matter, his name. If I knew his name I would check his criminal background and report either way, whether he was a solid citizen with no record, a criminal, or something in between.

Even in that case, I doubt I would know what color he was based on his record.

Do you anonymous commenters ever get off the topic of race and talk about something like, oh, let me think...

    The content of one's character?

    ReplyDelete
  22. You are a FUCKING racist!

    ReplyDelete
  23. He must have been black. No white man is dumb enough to be walking a north Minneapolis alley full of thugs.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I do not like the tone or content of the "alley comment," however it is substantive and thought provoking, so I am approving it while holding my nose.

    ReplyDelete
  25. The laws of this city must be racist if JNS is a racist.
But you see, the laws of this country/city are not racist. They are meant for everyone.
Even meant for the human wreckage that goes around killing, burglarizing, mugging and all the other shit that human wreckage does.

    ReplyDelete
  26. It's not about JNS being racist, it's about him being ethical and moral.

    ReplyDelete

"It's not about JNS being racist, it's about him being ethical and moral."
And yet the comments here are proclaiming him as racist not unethical or immoral. Not a word on ethics and morals.

  31. I am contemplating whether to publish a graphic and violent comment that was submitted, along with my suspicion of who is the specific person submitting such comments all the way from, well, it would be Texas. Does anybody have any opinion or input on my idea to tweak my policy about such comments by publishing the graphic and offensive comments, but then saying who I think is submitting them all the way from Texas?

    ReplyDelete
  32. File that cr@p away for later, and if you really catch that person, then post it all .

    ReplyDelete
  33. You'll more than likely end up getting many more violent and graphic comments if you do decide to go ahead and publish them.

    ReplyDelete
  34. It has been decided I will go ahead and publish the comments.

An abusive, anonymous and sexual comment a couple comments above is, more than likely, just a "trying to stir up deadly s***" comment submitted by a guy named Jim Watkins who lives in Texas and stalks this blogger. Watkins is mad because his friend, Thomas Balko, went to prison for victimizing North Minneapolis in an investor fraud.

For more information, everything EXCEPT his grandmother's home address and the place where he is working selling secondhand goods, check out this like right here.

    http://jimwatkinsantijohnny.blogspot.com/

Abusive and racist comments that come to this blog and are believed to be the work of Watkins will no longer be ignored, but will be published with a "call out" about Watkins.

  35. John, how do you know so much about what guys in prison like! We know you don't have the smooth hairless chest or nice ass, so you must be describing your taste in men. That might explain why so many of the facebook pics you select to publish are of young guys with their shirts off!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I went to middle school with this kid. He was a nice enough guy. It is too bad that I think he was involved in these things even as a young kid. He has always been very small, I wonder if he still is. Makes you wonder what caused him to be this way.
