Not sure if I took this photo or somebody else did, blog post by John Hoff
Watching the jailhouse roster like a hawk this weekend, fulfilling a promise to write about anybody arrested for a gun crime who lists a North Minneapolis address, a second fish has been caught in my bloggy net...
BRION DUJUANT SPILLER, DOB 4/3/90, was jailed a few hours ago on probable cause for weapons, and also was "arrest and detention" for theft/take/use/transfer moveable property as well as an assault charge, third degree, substantial bodily harm.
Spiller's address is listed on the jailhouse roster as 1715 Russell Ave. N., a rental owned by Michael D. Hochman of 221 8th Ave. N., Hopkins, MN.
Spiller's criminal record is not as impressive as some, but impressive enough. Here is the list of charges and their result according to online court records.

Guilty. Looks like he got 3 years probation and "sentence to serve." Of course, he's just short of his three years probation, isn't he? Currently, it appears Spiller has a probation violation with a hearing scheduled. He also owes $50 on this old charge.

Guilty. An 18 month sentence in St. Cloud, stayed for 3 years. Looks like Spiller is staring at a probation violation for THIS crime, too.

Loiter with intent to solicit any act prohibited by law
If you can't actually be committing crimes, then loitering around hoping to commit one is the best you can do. Convicted on this one, too. Got a year probation. Since his probation was supposed to be completed on 11/09/12, and that date isn't here, yet, I'm trying to understand why I'm NOT seeing an upcoming probation violation hearing on THIS charge like the OTHER TWO charges.
Looks like Spiller might be going down hard in the wake of this recent arrest. And, as the cherry on the sundae, Spiller receives extra attention from the blogosphere just because it's "watchful weekend."
