Jackpot! Now You Die! Scuttlebutt Circulates About The Murder Of Cordell Q. Dalton...

Creative stock photo, blog post by John Hoff

I was contacted by a source who wishes to remain anonymous, but whose information I believe to be factual or, at the very least, sincere. According to my source, murder victim Cordell Q. Dalton was gambling shortly before his death and had won a respectable sum. In fact, word is Dalton had more or less cleaned out the other players. What game they were playing is unknown, but I suspect it was a dice game based on Dalton's Faceboook page.

At least one of the other players was not happy about the turn of events and there was an altercation. This is how Dalton ended up dead, according to my source.

  3. The Star Tribune published an article today confirming the core of the facts related in this blog report. Police believe Dalton was killed after he was the big winner in a dice game. Johnny Northside readers had this information four days early.

  4. Congrats on getting it right. You lucked out. But a good journalist would have verified the info before publication. The Strib got their info directly from the MPD, and published verified info. Sounding "sincere" doesn't cut it.

  5. Luck didn't have a damn thing to do with it. I had a good source and judged the quality of the information correctly. That's why readers keep coming back to this blog, for the quality and exclusiveness of the info as well as the writing style.

They don't come back to see what the idiot trolls are saying, that's for sure.

  7. the strib is a poor excuse for a daily news publication and does not even qualify as decent asswipe.
if you believe the shit they print as being the truth ask the young "promising athlete" who has a piece of his "brain" left, how much crack was in his possesion when he got capped; go ahead, ask. do not let the facts get in the way , right
