Devonte Coppage, a resident of North Minneapolis, was the first murder of 2014 in the city of St. Paul. JNS blog is attempting to dig up information about both Coppage and the three individuals accused in his shooting, see previous blog post.
A quick perusal of MNCIS shows that Derrick Anthony Parker (DOB 8/18/92) was charged in 2011 with fleeing police (by means other than motor vehicle) and tampering with a motor vehicle. He was only convicted on the fleeing police charge. He still owes $131 on that charge. The online court record shows him as a resident of Eagan in 2011.
As for Antonio TYRESE Seals, also accused in the incident...
...I show no charges for him AT ALL. (See correction below)
As for Alfonso Seals, Jr., I show no criminal record at all. HOWEVER, there is an Alfonso Ray Seals (possibly the younger guy's father?) who has a rap sheet as long as my arm.
In conclusion, unless these three individuals have out-of-state criminal records that I haven't accessed, the three of them put TOGETHER don't have as serious of a criminal record as the homicide VICTIM in this case.
(CORRECTION: Initially, I thought Antonio Seals was the same guy who had some speeding charges. But a commenter pointed out the age difference. Antonio Seals, accused in the shooting, is only 18 and the OTHER Antonio Seals was born in 1992, so he is around 22 years old. It would appear, therefore, that Antonio Seals, accused of second degree murder, doesn't even have a SPEEDING TICKET that I can turn up in MNCIS.
Apologies to Antonio Seals, accused of murder, for erroneously stating he was the Antonio Seals with SPEEDING TICKETS)

BUT they do now! I guess it goes to show you that a record is not always the best indicator of WHAT and WHO you are. They are cold blooded killers huh?
ReplyDeleteNot YET they are not. They are merely accused. It could turn out to be self-defense. We shall see.
ReplyDeleteAnd here I was hoping that the frigid temps would forestall the first murder of the year. Staying in your house usually means you won't get killed.
ReplyDeleteThis guy Coppage is linked by blood to the notorious St. Paul Coppage murders which involved a gang-related firebombing.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.twincities.com/rosario/ci_23862414/ruben-rosario-andre-coppage-struggles-find-place-world?source=rss
Yes he is a member of that family and again he was a victim, as well of the five children taking in the fire. Coppage criminal background is non violate offences...
DeleteA report of a confrontation Coppage had
ReplyDeletehttp://www.twincities.com/ci_16869917
"I could never live with killing five kids," he said. "I never had anything to do with it. If I had known who did it in my organization, I would have done something to him."
However, the federal prosecutor in the case and Andre Coppage beg to differ.
"Absolutely. There's no doubt in my mind," Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeff Paulsen said of Hart's involvement and complicity in what the prosecutor described at trial as a "slaughter of the innocents."
"That (expletive) is guilty," said Coppage, who confronted Hart two months ago when the two met by chance at a Twin Cities rap concert. They almost came to blows. "
SO when are you going to post all of the gang photos that everyone I posting on FB of the two killers?

ReplyDeleteOh ok so him having a record he deserves to die? Be murdered at that? Pathetic asf this is crazy
ReplyDeleteI love homoerotic pics, thanks Johnny. These two are 18, right? Talk about jail bait, bahdumdum.
ReplyDeleteKeep yours blogs to yourself there is a such thing as a lawsuit
ReplyDeleteA lawsuit? Really?
ReplyDeleteHere's what happened to the last guy who tried to sue me. If you see Jerry Moore, let him know he still owes me a cash judgment.

That Antonio Seals page seems to have disappeared before I had any chance to look. Hope the police were able to get what THEY needed.
ReplyDeleteI wish. I don't have the two killers, yet. The link to that Antonio Seals page is not working. If anybody can provide links to their pages, please share.
ReplyDeleteInsert word "alleged" into my previous comment.
ReplyDeleteHow about inead of incriminating and insinuating just to get veiws on a blog you speak of the good about pepole instead of stalking the web on the individuals you blog about trying to link information together like they are all fact...do you have the authority to do such "johnny northside!" Whats your life story whats your wrap sheet these blogs only hender situation not help them what good are you bringing is the money for doing this that good or are you just that bored with too much time on your hands have some respect for these peoples family!!!!
ReplyDeleteLook up the gang photos the seals brothers have and the gang relations famone they arent as innocent as you so highly display them to be
ReplyDeleteWouldn't I love to look them up? Give me links to their Facebook pages, WORKING links, and I will.
ReplyDeleteAlfonso seals go from there
ReplyDeleteNo one says you have to love your enemies though some good people do. This hate and horrible rhetoric for a murder victim who is gone, is reprehensible. To pretend that somehow this benefits anyone or that this kid is going to hurt anyone else, IF he did, is ridiculous. The comments on here are pathetic and mean spirited.
ReplyDeleteYou know what? I am probably the biggest cynic out there. But damn, it kills me that these boys are such babies. And I mean that literally. Look at their faces and their just-beginning-to-develop bodies. They're kids! Their noses are the same ones I wiped at my daughter's recent birthday party. They are the same ones I just hugged when they rocked the holiday concert. What the hell happened to produce this?
ReplyDeleteAnony. 10:17. Do you live in a war zone like North? It doesn't sound as though you do.
ReplyDeleteRip devonte we love you.. RIH COUSIN
ReplyDeleteYou got the wrong Antonio Seals. He's 18 not born in 92 & would have no residence in apple valley. I grew up with the Seals boys, they're good people & a strong family. You also messed up the names of the baby, his dad uncle & grandpa when blogging about my little cousin getting shot in north Minneapolis a few months ago & had a lot of people accusing the wrong guy. Please get your information straight dude
ReplyDeleteYOU ARE CORRECT and I have made correction accordingly. JNS blog cares of facts and when I get a fact wrong, I leap to make speedy correction. In this case, the age difference is obvious, though the assertion depends upon OTHER MEDIA having the young man's age correct. I am willing to assume other media have the age correct and there are simply two young men both named Antonio Seals, one with speeding tickets, the other without any record that I can turn up on MNCIS.
ReplyDeleteAs for the matter you bring up from another context, that mistake was inadvertent and was corrected as soon as it was brought to my attention. Every now and then, I will get a name wrong or misspelled. Every now and then, a fact will be garbled. These things happen with all forms of media. My accuracy rate, given the fact this blog has published nearly 4,000 blog posts, is incredibly high but there is ALWAYS room for improvement. I depend upon readers to read critically and provide feedback, which I appreciate, even when it comes in critically worded form for making an error.
If individuals want to add what they feel to be relevant info, this is a reasonably open forum for people to do that.
Look at these clowns! When was the circus in town?
ReplyDeletethe girl on the left looks like a young version of an old drunk ready to pull her hand off of her(yea, her) Wilbur and ask for fitty cent. never will get the real chance it seems
ReplyDeleteI do not approve of the harsh and hurtful comment about somebody's "Wilbur" (I've never even heard that name used in that way before) but in a spirit of free speech and substantive commentary, I have approved a comment I see as only trashy and mean-spirited.
ReplyDeleteAntonio Seals found guilty.
