After I blogged recently about Theresa NMN Bruce, a reader kindly sent me a police data sheet that included Bruce's image.

These "mug shot sheets" created by the Minneapolis police department and sent out on various listserves are a pain in the butt for a blogger, because the images aren't JPEGs and can't be conveniently used. I can't just "click on" the image and easily maneuver it where I like.

I can, however, manage after a fashion and you see the result, above, so I'm very thankful to readers who not only read, but make this blog "participatory media."

Sometimes I suspect individuals who are listed as "NPA" (no permanent address) on the Hennepin County Jail roster might be trying to conceal their address. So when I search the roster, I click on all the NPA listings, the "lives in his van" listings, the "doesn't know" listings, and sometimes there's "something about the name" which makes me click on it, even if their address is South Minneapolis (SoMi).

I don't know if that's the case with Theresa "No Middle Name" Bruce,  whose purported date of birth is 10/5/78, but it doesn't matter...
