Peter Rickmyer is a Level Three Sex Offender who (incredibly) has been wanted on a "non-extraditable" warrant out of Oklahoma since Kurt Cobain was signed up with Sub Pop records and nobody knew what Teen Spirit smelled like. Frolicking around as free as you please in defiance of law, morality and social norms, Rickmyer has repeatedly filed baseless harassing lawsuits against various individuals and entities, including this blog. He has been declared a "frivolous litigant" in state court (but not yet in federal court) who isn't allowed to make filings on his own, pro se.

Yet THAT didn't stop Rickmyer from making another filing earlier this month...

The Hennepin County prosecutor put out a press release today which discussed a dramatic shooting incident downtown. Gunfire was being exchanged between two vehicles and two innocent women in a third vehicle were hit, but both escaped with non-fatal injuries after driving themselves to a hospital. Three people were arrested in the incident, one from Columbia Heights and two from "Minneapolis."

When I read the account of the shooting I couldn't help but think if I looked into what neighborhood these (alleged) Minneapolis ne'er-do-wells were from, I'd probably hit the Northside jackpot with at least one of the names...

When I first read the criminal complaint liked above, I hesitated to write about it because there's no mention of physical evidence against Kevin Deshon Ellis, only the accusation of a little girl. Therefore, literally a case of he said, she said. I actually wondered how prosecutors were going to make their case and why they had charged something so thin.

Then I looked into the background of Kevin Deshon Ellis.

Oh. Turns out he's a sex offender.

Here's hoping prosecutors put Ellis away for a long time. If he's guilty, that is to say. He's still innocent until proven guilty, except for the fact he's already a sex offender so...

It was back in April of 2013 when I spotted the name "Lavelle R. Bible" on the jail roster. He was charged with failing to register as a predatory offender and thanks to Bible's distinctive name I remembered, hey, that's one of the Level Three Sex Offenders who lives in North Minneapolis.

Level Three Sex Offender Peter Rickmyer, pictured above, has been wanted on a warrant out of Oklahoma County, Oklahoma since the Hubble telescope was launched into space and Nelson Mandela was freed from prison, circa 1990. But Oklahoma County doesn't want Rickmyer back in their state, and so the warrant has been "non-extraditable" all these years even though the whole judicial system knows precisely where this fugitive child molester can be located, see address listed at the bottom of his recent court filing.

In the last couple days, JNS blog had all-but-confirmed DaShaunta Dmar Gomez (a member of the infamous Gomez crime family) was the accused shooter in the murder of Johnathon Harris on Hillside Ave. N.

The only real mystery, here, is how Gomez was allowed to be running lose on probation after screwing up over and over. Now a man is dead and for what? Dashaunta Dmar Gomez, a young felon and a member of the most infamous crime family in North Minneapolis, plus a chronic Facebook crotch grabber (see, above, Exhibit A) has ended up about where many of us have expected him to end up for the last couple years: sitting in jail charged with murder.

When this blog pointed out no permits were found online for the installation of baseboard electrical heaters at 2818 Colfax Ave. N., site of a fire that claimed the life of five children, a commenter told me that electrical permits are issued by the State of Minnesota and not by the City of Minneapolis.
