Last Friday, according to information posted by the Executive Director of Folwell and Weber-Camden Neighborhoods, the very powerful and well-respected Roberta Johnson Englund, a judicial outrage took place in the court of Judge Pamela Alexander, pictured above in the top photo. Citizens on the popular North Vent Facebook page are calling for removal of Judge Alexander from the bench and from any committees after she let a gun-wielding drug dealer off the hook with a stunningly light sentence.

DeWayne Day, who achieved momentary media fame in 2011 as a creepy bus driver accused of molesting a 5-year-old girl, but was never convicted, subsequently started himself a new career as a dealer in narcotics...

Peter Rickmyer, a Level Three Sex Offender in North Minneapolis who, incredibly, has been wanted on a "non-extraditable" warrant out of Oklahoma County, Oklahoma since the early 1990s for a lewd and terrible thing he did THERE, continues to file stuff in federal court while decent people await a ruling on whether Rickmyer is a frivolous litigant IN FEDERAL COURT.

Rickmyer, (and did I mention he's wanted on a warrant in Oklahoma?) has already been declared a "Rule 9" frivolous litigant in Hennepin County District Court. But that didn't stop Rickmyer from filing in federal court.

Lloyd, also spelled "Loyd," is the name of a half-dozen or so known crime families which JNS blog is determined to document and expose. It is not known if Minnie Lee Loyd (DOB 6/30/56) is a member of the Loyd crime family, but her actions (past and currently alleged) sure fit the bill. Minnie was allegedly involved in a crime which was distasteful even by the standards of organized family crime and involved a fake chaplain at a hospital.

According to a recent criminal complaint (click here) a woman was visiting Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN when somebody identifying himself as a chaplain came in and asked if they'd like to pray. The woman was distracted for a moment when the "chaplain" asked for an alcohol pad and later discovered her credit cards were missing...

So I just finished writing about Picasso Joseph Dejoachim being accused of First Degree Murder, assault and drive by shooting, and for the heck of it I thought, "I should check out that other guy on the jail roster whose last name is ALSO Dejoachim."

Picasso Joseph Dejoachim is in jail, and has been since October 17. He's charged with ATTEMPTED first degree, premeditated murder as well as assault and drive by shooting. You'd think some media outlet besides a small neighborhood blog would already be reporting this news but it appears, by dumb luck and frequent browsing of the jail roster, this blog just broke the story...

Leontaye Antez Slaughter-McCaskel is currently listed on the MN State Department of Corrections website as "Fugitive Apprehend." He was released from prison in August of this year and had probation until August of 2014, but obviously couldn't abide by simple rules like "let your probation officer know where you are."

His sentence was for a second degree felony assault. Slaughter-McCaskel is part of a whole passel of individuals with the same hyphenated surname who are linked by blood and/or marriage to convicted murderer James Leon Ferguson and the criminal offspring of the Ferguson crime family...

Peter Rickmyer, a Level Three Sex Offender who has been declared a frivolous litigant in Hennepin County Court, and is awaiting a similar determination in federal court, has filed yet another lawsuit against the Jordan Area Community Council.

Information online reveals the lawsuit was filed October 21. JNS blog does not yet have a copy of the lawsuit but a the online information, linked above, shows the suit involves Rickmyer's continuing obsession with Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance. Rickmyer reportedly suffers from some kind of "cognitive" disability, i.e. the stuff his probation officer tells him goes in one ear and out the other, plus his little head thinks for the big one.

Other than naming Jaylin Dubose and providing his address in Columbia Heights, (good God!) the complaint does not differ from the document filed by prosecutors against alleged accomplice-after-the-fact Kyle Hickman more than a year ago.

Jaylin Dubose, who was named as a suspect in the murder of Parrish Gray but disappeared off the streets of North Minneapolis, turned up in Chicago and was arrested there on October 1, as reported exclusively on JNS blog.

As of October 15, there were no local charges against Jaylin, but recent scrutiny of the jail roster shows Dubose was received on October 23 and is charged with second degree (not premeditated) murder...

The impact of social media in the form of aggressive blogging was proven in this campaign, with City Council Member Barb Johnson overwhelmingly crushing the campaign of upstart amateur challenger Kris Brogan.

A factor in the race was The Brogan Files, an anonymous blog which appeared in March of this year and made trashing Kris Brogan its mission in life. Because the blog discussed Northside issues, JNS blog added Brogan Files to our "blog roll," giving the blog exposure to our 3,000 daily page views. The Brogan Files was ugly, bare-knuckle politics by SOMEBODY (the author of the blog is still unknown) and it appears to have worked overwhelmingly. About a year ago, a respected community leader (RCL) told me something like, "John, I know you're the only one willing to dig into this story I am about to tell you." The RCL proceeded to tell me half a dozen "crime families" were responsible for a disproportionate amount of crime in North Minneapolis. The crime families had generations of dysfunction and it appeared they taught crime skills to their offspring like a profession.

I obtained the surnames of the families, one of which was (of course) Gomez.

In fact, it was my stories about the Gomez family, documenting three generations of crime, which made that RCL believe I'd be able to get to the bottom of the story of half a dozen crime families. (Click here, and here) 

HOWEVER, hearing of the pattern and assembling the facts isn't as easy as assembling facts and then perceiving the pattern...

After the polls close but before Election Day is over, JNS blog will be publishing a list of what I believe are the Six Crime Families of North Minneapolis. The existence of The Six was discussed in the mayoral race by Don Samuels, mayoral candidate.

Our neighborhood has ISSUES. We need good people to FIX those issues. We don't agree who should be in charge so we vote. If you don't vote, your opinion about the issues and who should be in charge isn't worth as much.

If you think the whole system is a sham, then by God get to the polls and write in your own name or a cartoon character, over and over, BUT GET TO THE POLLS AND CAST YOUR ALIENATED AND UPSET BALLOT SO THE POLITICIANS KNOW YOU HAVEN'T BEEN FOOLED AND THEY CAN, I DON'T KNOW, TRY HARDER. 

Vote for the candidates of your choice, vote your own way on the issues, but get out and vote. Today is the day, and tomorrow will be too late.

A piece of information from the city council campaign in Ward Five caught my eye and, I think, deserves to be highlighted on this blog.

Brett Buckner, one of the candidates in the race, has not filed either of his campaign finance reports.

One report was due September 3, the other October 29.  Brett Buckner doesn't seem to think the rules apply to him...
