Cecil Glenn Allen, or whatever he wants to call himself today, has been featured previously on Johnny Northside Dot Com, click here, which is why his name struck me as familiar when I was looking through the jail roster today.

Recently, he was arrested on a bench warrant over a theft charge and a probable cause charge for failure to register as a predatory offender. Though the specific addresses of Level Three sex offenders aren't made public by the Department of Corrections, every now and then one turns up in the jail roster and I pounce upon it.

That's what happened here...

Months ago, when the Minnesota State Court of Appeals overturned the $60,000 judgment against this blog in Moore v. Hoff, one of my family members threw an impromptu victory party with a jar of caviar and some sparkling apple cider. And though the Court of Appeals made its ruling last summer, the actual and formal administrative action of overturning of the judgment took a little while and happened only yesterday.

So, in a sense, I am $60,000 richer.

Numerous media entities are reporting the fact Devon McFerrin, a/k/a "Church," is being sought on murder charges. McFerrin allegedly sold heroin that was responsible for the death of a suburbanite in Hopkins named Timothy C. St. John.

The time has come to tell the sordid tale, as much of the sordid tale as I know, about a likely motive behind the shooting of Ladell Williams in South Minneapolis. I've already written about how homicide investigators wanted certain emails in my possession and I turned those over, click here. 

In summary, there was a scam being operated on the internet which involved something called "Purple Drank," which is prescription-strength cough syrup containing codeine and promethazine mixed with beverages like Sprite and Mountain Dew. Pieces of Jolly Rancher candy are added for, I would assume, flavor and sweetness. The drink gets its name from the dyes in the cough syrup.

So how does this all become a likely motive in the shooting of Ladell Williams?

One of my commenters pointed out something so interesting I decided to write a blog post about it. There is a connection between Major Topps (deceased, and widely suspected to be a pedophile) and the infamous theft of John Foster's identity which spawned the mortgage fraud at 1564 Hillside Ave. N.

There were two other houses in the process of being sold when the fraud at "1564" was discovered and disrupted. One of those houses was 3000 Girard Ave. N. and the other was 2642 James Ave. N. The St. Louis Park Patch wrote a good story about Alexander Dayshawn Clark, (DOB 8/23/90) who apparently goes by the name "Prince Hollywood." Clark is charged with burglary over an incident alleged to have taken place in the happy suburb of St. Louis Park.

Though a criminal complaint (click here) lists Clark's address as 2813 Cedar Ave. S. #14, I turned up a North Minneapolis address in one of my old jail rosters. In the early summer of 2012, Clark was listed at 3637 Emerson Ave. N.

This property is owned by the Minneapolis Department of Commerce and Economic Development.

Yes, I am also scratching my head over that one.

This is what I know. A commenter on a recent blog post (click here) left some interesting information about a guy named Marco Mondaine. There is a fellow by that name who is a sex offender, convicted in Kansas City of Aggravated Indecent Liberties/Solicitation Of A Child. 

The birthday of that fellow, Marco Mondaine, is February 26, 1978.

Now compare and contrast with a guy who has the same name and turned up in June of last year on the Hennepin County Jail Roster...

Was Trent Bowman present in the gallery at the recent John Foster civil trial? This question has become quite a tangled mystery. So tangled that I was forced to do something I almost never do: remove a blog post. When you make a correction, but then you have to reverse yourself and "correct the correction," stuff just gets too tangled.

Best to start over.

First of all, allow me to admit that Trent Bowman is not "a big corn fed white guy." He is, in fact, a tall black guy who bears a striking resemblance to the Trent Bowman described in this link, click here, who recently was named Assistant Vice President at Associated Bank. Is it the same guy? Word reached me awhile ago that Darkese Shorter failed to make a pretrial hearing on January 9. (The title of the email with this information was "Stupid Kid.") Jermaine Washington, whose name I didn't have until the last couple days, reportedly pleaded guilty and among other things will have to attend a gun offender program. Based on this information, the victim of the burglary assumes that Jermaine Washington was armed when he was apprehended after the burglary.

"A Damned Update," said the title of the email in my inbox, and when I opened the attachment it was a recent court order dismissing a lawsuit by Dave Bicking and Michelle Gross against Donald Bellfield, the former chair of the Civilian Review Authority. Click here to read the court order. 

The title of the email, I realized, refers to my "Roll Call Of The Damned" phrase describing the effect of Jill Clark's suspension from the practice of law and the effect of the suspension upon her clients, like passengers aboard a sinking ship.

With Jill Clark as their attorney, Bicking and Gross filed a defamation lawsuit against Bellfield that was weak, flawed and half-assed even by the abysmal standards of Clark litigation.

During the bitter and final "Twilight of the Gods" phase of the doomed lawsuit, Clark wasn't the attorney for Bicking and Gross because of her mental health issues. While unrepresented by counsel, it appears Bicking and Gross used a typical layman strategy of just, um, not filing anything and perhaps thinking the whole mess would go away? No doubt they were crying in their beer about how unfair it was that their attorney was suspended for mental health issues when, really, all Clark was doing was "speaking truth to power"?

Martel Allen Brown, who reportedly lives at 6437 Pleasant Ave. S. in Richfield but, on a recent Hennepin County jail roster, was listed at 2925 Lyndale Ave. N., is charged with being a prohibited person in charge of a firearm.
