A prolific behind-the-scenes communicator seems to have hit a vein of interesting information about Mission Inn Minnesota, the entity controlled by Northside property baron Paul Bertelson; owner of the Colfax Ave. N. duplex where five children of Troy Lewis died in a fire on Valentine's Day.
The "communicator" tells me if there's a new thread on Paul Bertelson, he or she might have a lot to say. Well, how can JNS blog resist a thing like that? Here's your new thread, baby. And as you can see, I've even set out some "virtual treats."
ENJOY! AND COMMENT!!!!!

And here is something new and refreshing, the 1st Amendment is NOT absolute:

Those who feel threatened by your blogging can take court action.
Well, when I start writing on my Facebook about my relatives that live in New Jersey, I will shudder in fear over this court case. Which, by the way, I assume will be appealed and overturned.
Me thinks you miss the point of that person's comment and link.
The Minnesota stalking law is very specific to what you do as a blogger. If people feel threatened or intimidated by your cyberstalking & blogging, this NJ court has created the option (by setting the precedent which was affirmed by the NJ appellate court) of issuing a restraining order to prevent you from writing about them.
The laws are rapidly changing to protect people from online bullying/harassment, and there is a movement in the legislature to prevent cyber terrorism. With the unregulated proliferation of social media the courts are creating the definitions between writing and harassing; between research and cyberstalking.
I guarantee that in the near future bloggers like you, who ignore laws and misuse the 1st amendment will be facing sanctions and possibly criminal charges, if even as minor as a misdemeanor. It is bloggers like you that have made these new laws a necessity.
Well, in that case THANK GOODNESS I have the finest legal help in the nation defending me.
I must say, it's been nice meeting you and BEST OF LUCK ON ALL YOUR FUTURE ENDEAVORS. My secretary will be happy to validate your parking. Don't be shy, grab a few complimentary mints on the way out.
And I suspect you'll need a good legal team because here's another ruling that goes against your best practices; essentially saying that insinuation can be defamation.
And you make a lot of insinuations.
Good thing you (think you) have a good legal team.
I suggest you are the one who needs the LUCK ON YOUR FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

To which I say:
PINK SLIME!!!! ICK!!!! I don't want that in my meat!
Beagle Ill eagle always seems to have the answers which never pan out. Keep up the good work, John, and maybe you can sue illegal bugle for slander.
You can't be sued for telling the truth right John?
There is no false or defamatory information in BL's statement.
And since JNS is a public figure he would have to prove actual malice.
BL's stating facts, and opinion based on facts.
Looks like May 24 @ 7:55 AM is just plain ignorant of the law. "Slander" would be spoken defamation, and "Libel" is for written defamation.
Have your morning coffee before posting comments you flame baiting troll.
