As easy as these records are to find, I have to wonder why other media entities didn't publish these relevant facts? The woman who reportedly stabbed Hughes, who is not named in either of the two articles on the incident, will surely be making a claim of self-defense. The fact Hughes was such a no-account helps to make self-defense seem likely.
