Last night I watched "True Grit" for the umpteenth time on my laptop. (The recent remake, I mean, not the classic with John Wayne)

On a Forward Operating Base in Afghanistan, a laptop is what you might call a "home entertainment center." I only have a limited number of movie files in that computer so...

The reason I mention this is because of something the main character, Mattie Ross, says at the end of the movie: Time just gets away from us. So it is I haven't published the Hennepin County Jail Roster since, oh my word, August 29....

Some days ago, in a quest to find out the identities of the individuals arrested for a crime spree on West Broadway, click here, I did some digging using the online Hennepin County Sheriff's roster, click here.

For some odd reason, the home addresses of suspects pop up when I use the "received by" search function, but not the other functions. Whatever, go figure, and oh well. It's a clunky tool, but a very useful one. I've been fooling around with it, off and on, for a few days.

What can I do with this tool? Oh, all kinds of things...
