Photos By John Hoff, September 1Here are three pictures I took (from inside the "freedom of speech cage" near XCel Energy Center) of Republican counter-demonstrators. Note the pile of unused signs as high as the counter demonstrator's waist!
Things I heard yelled by the anti-war marchers included, "Nice to meet ALL FIVE OF YOU!" and "I hope you're going to recycle those signs. Oh, wait, you don't believe in global warming, DO YOU?!"
Yeah, I guess they took (as Mick Jagger would sing) their "fair share of abuse" at the de-mon-stray-shuns. I'm sure the counter demonstrators would have liked a bigger group. Well, you can't always get what you want.
