Police and prosecutors are crediting a confidential reliable informant (CRI) for the arrest of Julist Dewight King on drug charges. King has a felony drug conviction from 2012 but, interestingly, is alleged to be out on the streets dealing drugs yet again.
How does THAT happen with...
...a felony conviction?
I'll talk about what happened with the 2012 case in a moment. Oh, King also had an open felony drug case at the moment he was arrested, according to the criminal complaint. But now King is in jail, and has been since November 6, so jail seems to be sticking at the moment.
According to the criminal complaint, a CRI tipped off police to where Julist King would be doing a drug deal: 47th St. East and 5th Avenue South in Minneapolis. Police already knew King well, and spotted King right where the CRI said King would be and driving the vehicle the CRI described.
Police seized 31 separate "bindles" of a substance that "field tested" as cocaine. They also found one bindle of heroin, and $720 all in $20 bills.
The criminal complaint says King is a resident of 866 23rd Ave. SE, but the jail roster lists King at 3343 Irving Ave. N., a rental owned by Sou Enterprises MN LLC.
The criminal complaint which describes the arrest of Julist Dewight King notes a guy named Dervon Chantoine Smith was arrested in the course of the same police investigation. Smith is apparently fresh off a 24-month prison sentence. This blogger wrote about Smith back in June of 2008, under the following headline:
Amazing, Petty "Slap On The Wrist" Sentences For Northside Criminals
Wow. What a blast from the past.
The more things change, the more things...
Don't change.
So in regard to Julist D. King, and that felony conviction from 2012...
According to online court records, in August of 2012 Julist was sentenced to a year in prison, but the sentence was stayed for three years. So take my headline from 2008, and recycle it once again:
Amazing, Petty "Slap On The Wrist" Sentences For Northside Criminals
And with that paltry one year sentence hanging over his head, Julist King was once again out on the streets slinging crack...
Allegedly. And he'd probably still be out there (allegedly!) but a confidential reliable informant gave Julist King up to the boys in blue.
I wonder if that CRI is getting paid enough to make the job of a CRI worth the terrible risks?

This fuck has Ebola or is a much valued SNITCH which is tantamount to you assholes with your don't snitch attitudes...you snitch on each other all of the time and are a bunch of two-faced blamin' yellow whores who pick on innocent folks and deserve to die.

I don't know anything about this person. Can you tell me more and give me her DOB?
Julist -is that like Schindler's list?
I am not clear what you mean by Schindler's List. The first name of Mr. Schindler was Oskar.

why not just legalize the drugs and prostitution already it's a victimless crime the only reason why there's victims and it is because it's illegal just like prohibition before probation there wasn't the mob there was in gangs mafia they all came into power because of it you go to foreign countries were they allowed to do all that stuff they don't have any of the crime that we do but I know there is a million different reasons on why that is and drugs and prostitution isn't necessarily the whole picture or how about this how about if you're caught doing drugs are you have drugs in your system equal sentences for you as well as drug dealers for the drug dealers and the drug users can go to jail together I think that would be a fair deal
makes u wonder if this "informant" was getting rid of his competition lol
