North Minneapolis Resident Wants To Put Landlord Donald Swensrud On The Radar, Turns Out He's Already There, But Now I Have A Property List...

A Northside resident who is having issues with a property owned by Donald Swensrud at 3418 Bryant Ave. N. started Googling the aforementioned Swensrud, and in no time at all ended up at JNS Blog, reading about (inter alia) the SWAT team incident depicted above, click here for earlier story.

Many a Northsider has reached out to this blog for help, not knowing where to begin, and it's my practice to send those persons to helpful contacts in the city's political power structure and the neighborhood organizations. 

But everybody has to start somewhere, right? And this blog is often the "second stop right after Google" when it comes to information about troublesome Northside landlords.

2711 Humboldt Ave. N. Placed On A Short Leash By Minneapolis Police...

It was August of last year when this blog wrote about a police raid on 2711 Humboldt Ave. N. (photo of raid, above) and the surprising paper trail of ownership, which led to Donald G. Swensrud; who is active in the Tea Party and Landlord Politics Dot Com.

There has been a new development at the property. Police have Swensrud on notice (click here for document) that further problems at the property can result in loss of the rental license. Furthermore, it's my understanding neighbors are...

JNS BLOG EXCLUSIVE: Raid At 2711 Humboldt Ave. N. Reveals Incredible Paper Trail Of Who Is Connected To The Property...

Yesterday morning there was a police raid at 2711 Humboldt Ave. N. in Minneapolis, complete with flash bang grenades, a SWAT team, Animal Control and (my personal favorite) a mobile crime lab. This, unfortunately, is not so unusual as our neighborhood struggles to make itself better, with the police on the leading edge of that fight.

What's notable is what the paper trial on the property revealed...
