Here are scenes from the Monday, September 1 anti-war protest march. Note Mickey's Diner in the background of the top photo. This is the very place where tear gas hit a crowd of protesters the next night.
One thing I'll say about RNC 2008: My time in St. Paul has me very curious to visit Mickey's Diner under normal circumstances!
