Devonte Coppage, who was named by this blog before any other media source as the victim of a failed drug deal in St. Paul, was like many other young urban individuals with extensive criminal records who die by homicidal violence or (on a different day, when somebody else gets the drop) commit homicidal violence; in that he extensively documented his life on Facebook.

So here we go again, and it gets old before it even starts...

I don't like using the same photo for two blog postings in a row, but today it seems necessary. If you click on the photo above, and look at the rear door of the armored Humvee (the door hanging open to the right of the tree) you can see the letters "FBI."

Good enough for me. That's an FBI raid.

In the course of researching a story referencing murder victim Keontrell Govan, I turned up what may be the world's worst "tribute to a fallen thug" video ever posted on YouTube. Watching it, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. My tendency is usually to laugh, albeit a dark and breathless laughter.

The video is not very long. Watch it and you'll know what I mean.

Keep in mind, this video is NOT intended as a parody of "tribute" videos but was done in a straight-faced manner to "honor" Keontrell Govan.
