Reginald Antwine Haynes didn't die in a shooting on the Northside, but he was a resident of the 1400 block of Dupont Ave. N. according to the Star Tribune. He died in a shooting at Mortimer's Bar in the usual pattern of argument resolved by gunfire, which is a frequent pattern of violence in our city.

What is that mommy's say to children throwing a tantrum? "Use your words?"

One television news station mentioned Haynes' extensive criminal record but wasn't really specific. This blog will be specific...

Visiting the Broadway Farmer's Market some months ago, I came upon a booth set up by the Wirth Cooperative Grocery or, I should say, by some of the folks who hope to BECOME a cooperative grocery by that name. The grocery is more of an idea than an entity right now, but it's an idea with the support of the Harrison Neighborhood Association and things are moving forward.

For one thing, they have SHIRTS. And I have one of them.

Word comes from Melony Michaels, one of the victims of the mortgage fraud involving 1564 Hillside Ave. N., of a resolution to a story this blog reported October 17.

Jerome Lance Kingrussell, who was the "imposter John Foster" during the infamous and high profile mortgage fraud has had early release revoked and is now headed back to prison. A hearing was held yesterday which, ironically, the mortgage fraud victims were not allowed to attend. But the result of the hearing is Kingrussell is no longer a free man and has apparently AT LONG LAST used up his undeserved chances to avoid a prison sentence.

Right. I wouldn't bet the farm against the possibility of the prison system turning loose this "little fish" yet again.

Glenn D. Smith, as I blogged previously, is accused of being involved in a shooting incident in the alley near 1826 Penn Ave. N. which shows every indication of being gang related. Nobody was killed in the incident though a 74-year-old male bystander was grazed in the face by a bullet. Smith is in jail on $200,000 bail, total, and charged with four weapons related felonies. There is videotape documenting at least part of the alley shooting incident so guess what? This guy is probably going away for a while.

Smith has documented his life prolifically on Facebook, where he has 1,651 followers. He has been on Facebook since 2010, so that would be since approximately the age 16 since his birthday is April 17, 1994 and he is currently just NINETEEN years old. (However, Smith has a "baby face" which makes him appear much younger)

It will take more than one blog post to reveal the trail of treasures Smith (a/k/a Chief Chuck So Iicey Smith, a/k/a Chief Chuck Got-Hoess Smith) has shared with the world. For the moment, I am ONLY going to comment upon the photos which explicitly include firearms, of which there are quite a few.

Jamica C. Holden, who played "den mother" to the gang-involved youth who included Stephon Shannon, one of the shooters of little Nizzel George, is sitting in jail in Anoka County right now. She's charged with:

Assault-2nd Degree-Dangerous Weapon- FE {609.222.1}

Domestic Assault-Misdemeanor-Intentionally Inflicts/Attempts to Inflict Bodily Harm on Another- MS {609.2242.1(2)}

Anonymous commenters tipped off this blogger and also say she tried to cut her boyfriend's face, but that's unconfirmed. Her bail is $30,000. She was arrested October 20, incarcerated October 21. Her mugshot appears to be evidence contrary to the old saying about blondes having more fun.

Glenn D. Smith is sitting in jail at the moment, charged in a back alley shooting in which a bullet grazed the face of a 74-year-old bystander near 1826 Penn Ave. N. Click here for the criminal complaint. The shooting happened on September 11.

It is alleged that Glenn Danen Smith, pictured above from Facebook where he is "Chief Chuck So Iicy Smith" was involved in the shooting. Police allege Smith and another young guy named Kevin Lamont Johnson were chasing two other young men through the alley, trying to shoot them, when the senior citizen was grazed in the face by one of their bullets.

Smith is now in the Hennepin County Jail on a total of $200,000 bail over four felony charges, all of which involve weapons. Smith came to the attention of this blog in April of last year because he was...

Sometimes I find out that fire has claimed a house on North Minneapolis Street in Wichita, Kansas, but usually I turn up useful news articles that inform me and help me dig up information to inform others.

Police executed a felony arrest warrant on 3101 Queen Ave. N. and didn't find they guy they were looking for, but they allegedly found Drew Lathon and a whole lot of weed, as well as drug scales and a stolen Ruger .380 with extended magazine, determined to be stolen.

Sabrae Courtney was convicted in 1995 of Third Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct and, as a result of "subsequent convictions and incarcerations," is required to register as a predatory offender until November 23, 2031, at which time it is possible he will have a ROBOT for a probation officer.

Even considering how long he's required to keep doing the task, Courtney has been doing a terrible job keeping himself registered. On September 9, St. Paul resident Yia Her fled from State Troopers. In his flight, he hit a vehicle containing Brody Sotona and Connor Macklin. Click here for the criminal complaint against Her.

I was unaware of the North Minneapolis connection to this story until I caught the STrib article about Macklin's recovery. Some of Macklin's kids were involved in the famous "Hot Cheetos and Takis" song which "went viral" and was viewed all over the world. Macklin was one of the first to tell everybody he knew about the video, helping start what would become an avalanche of popularity.

A regular reader emailed me the image above, showing that users of the Minneapolis Public Schools internet server are unable to access the Johnny Northside blog.

I don't know what to say about this except I assume my blog is blocked in a general way (i.e. all Blogspot sites are blocked along with social media like Facebook, common to some government internet servers) and not in a specific way, i.e. the Minneapolis Public School system doesn't want its minions reading how the Minneapolis Public School system was "shaken down" by Don Allen for $15,000, click here, and other stories.

JNS blog has sent an inquiry about the matter to a representative of the Minneapolis Public Schools.

In the meantime, it seems fair to say this kind of thing only makes my blog more controversial and, therefore, more popular.

Somebody in my social circle sent me a link to the Facebook profile of Jerry C. Moore, who appears to be one and the same with Jerry L. Moore. Just like the fraudsters who (along with Jerry) were involved in the mortgage fraud at 1564 Hillside Ave. N., Jerry finds it expedient to make adjustments to his name, in this case a new middle initial.

Jerry Moore sued me for defamation for saying he was "involved" with the mortgage fraud at 1564 Hillside Ave. N, with which he was involved. For a while, I owed Moore a $60,000 judgment. Then the State Court of Appeals reversed and it's Jerry who owes ME, to the tune of $3,799.69. I have been trying to find Jerry, trying to get my money, and I will be turning over internet rocks until I have my money. The latest rock I am looking under is the Facebook profile of Jerry "C" Moore.

That's "C" for "I C you, Jerry Moore."

Oh, and he likes the nickname "J Moe" on Facebook. You would think the former head of a Northside neighborhood association would be reluctant to identify with the nickname "Moe" and all the gang violence associations with "Moe" on the Northside but, well, those of us who knew Jerry well and saw through his smooth veneer always figured Jerry was down with the criminal element.

The media all over our country and even talk show hosts have weighed in on the topic of "stowaway boy," the 9-year-old North Minneapolis child who managed to get aboard an airline and fly to Las Vegas. Click here for Star Tribune article. 

JNS blog has not made an effort to learn the names of the parents or even obtain a copy of the petition because when the mainstream media are chewing up a big story, it is my habit to wait until a unique blogging angle becomes apparent. I mean, I sort of thought the big media boys who were ALL OVER THE STORY would soon publish this info. I was wrong.

Jerome Lance Kingrussell, the  infamous"imposter foster" from the Larry Maxwell case, was already sitting in jail when this blogger learned of his "fugitive apprehend" status. As of this moment, the MN DOC website still erroneously shows Kingrussell as "fugitive apprehend" but a look at the jail roster confirms he is, in fact, jailed on a Department of Corrections hold and was picked up October 9.

JNS Blog Working To Dig Up Current Status Of North Minneapolis Mortgage Fraudster Ed Boler...

A very interesting conversation is taking place behind the scenes about Ed Boler, a convicted mortgage fraudster who, along with Susan Newell, was tried for mortgage fraud and then RETRIED due to a hung jury. Prosecutor Brad Johnson, who also got a conviction in the Larry Maxwell mortgage fraud case, was sent in as the "clean up hitter" in the Boler/Newell case.

So what is going on with Boler these days? (I'll leave aside the question of what's going on with Susan Newell) A commenter to this blog asserted Boler has a new job involving property in another state, click here and read the comments.

That anonymous, ALL CAPS comment sent one of this blog's behind-the-scenes Santa's research helpers running to dig up information. Suffice to say I should have something interesting in the near future, but there DOES seem to be something to the rumors.

In the meantime, my researcher discovered an old link with the Boler and Newell criminal complaints was dead. Well, I can't have that. The historical record needs to be available for those who care to dig into that golden era of mortgage fraud which changed the face of North Minneapolis.

SOMETIMES Star Tribune Matt McKinney writes a halfway decent article, especially when the article has a co-author.

But McKinney has a noticeable tendency to be off-kilter, like the time when sex offender Peter "Spanky Pete" Rickmyer was trying to have a frivolous lawsuit served in city council chambers and all McKinney could concentrate upon was the fact Johnny Northside (moi!) had allegedly been aided in slipping out of city council chambers.

McKinney had little or nothing to write about the fact Pete The Pervert has managed, over the years, to waste hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of legal resources by serving legal worthless paper and, gee, how come the Star Tribune hasn't managed to uncover the fact Peter Rickmyer is WANTED ON A WARRANT OUT OF OKLAHOMA AND HAS BEEN SINCE THE EARLY 1990s? (More to follow on JNS blog in coming days since you can't really expect that story from McKinney of the Star Tribune)

And this, I have recently figured out, is the problem with Matt McKinney. Somewhere deep inside McKinney is a very alienated person, and therefore he tends to give too much ink and too much credibility to social malcontents, worthless troublemakers, psychopathic outsiders and (in at least one notable instance) a sex offender pervert than to (for lack of a better way of putting it) normal people.

Productive people.

Good citizens.

People who are on the Police Conduct Oversight Commission instead of venting their hot green bile from somewhere off stage left, because they opposed the whole Commission in the first place and naturally have nothing good to say about the Commission's progress. People like Chuck Turchick and Dave Bicking who, respectively, 1.) has had a bone to pick with American society since being imprisoned for trying to destroy draft records and 2.) unsuccessfully sued the former head of a police review committee and lost more than $5,000 dollars in the process.

Jeff Skrenes, pictured above and NOT accused of plotting murder this week, blogs on the "Hawthorne Hawkman" blog but got his start right here on Johnny Northside as a guest author.

Back when the The Hawkman was working for this blog, he wrote a long and excellent article entitled "Property Investors Mark The High Point of Hawkman's Weekend" which featured a guy named Michael Mangen, a real estate investment guru running a "tour bus" through our neighborhood and giving advice to wannabe property investors.

Jeff's article was written during an era when real estate values in North Minneapolis were so depressed, mortgage foreclosures had changed the face of the neighborhood, and now actual bus tours were being given to look at the destruction and see some kind of opportunity. During the bus tour Michael J. Mangen said he liked Section 8 tenants because he had "leverage" over them. Oh, turns out he loved to have "leverage" indeed and just couldn't bear to give up control....

Johnny Northside, you're a hard person to get a hold of, so here's my response: Your sources are absolutely WRONG on the Jerry Moore connection. I guess they're not very credible. I mean, if you want dirt from my campaign, just come and ask me. Spreading lies and rumors seems to be a common thing, at least from that one campaign. I can guess which one. Jaylin Dubose, who at one time was wanted for questioning in the murder of Parrish Gray but disappeared from North Minneapolis only to recently face arrest in Chicago, is NOT (I say again, NOT!!!) facing any charges at this time in Minneapolis. I managed to confirm today that no criminal complaint has been filed against Jaylin Dubose in Hennepin County.

Meanwhile, a "Prince Dula," whose profile was the subject of a recent blog posting about a "pistol brandishing" photo, has now changed his profile picture to the Chicago mug shot of Jaylin Dubose. The connection between "Prince Dula" and Jaylin Dubose is unknown but it would appear "Prince Dula" feels some kind of connection.

So far, I have been unable to learn what sort of charges Jaylin Dubose might be facing in Illinios but as far as I can tell he's still at the jail. His inmate number is 2013-1001148 and his "visiting day" is Tuesday from 3:30 to 8:30 PM.

As I previously reported, click here, a rumor was passed to me from Source A (a known, credible person) to Source B (an even more well known and equally credible person) that Jerry Moore appeared to be working for Brett Buckner.

Now Source B and also "Source C" are telling me THAT IS NOT CORRECT. In fact, both sources suspect Jerry Moore is, in fact, working for the campaign of Blong Yang, whose domination in the Fifth Ward yard sign war is undisputed. And, in fact, Source B passed on scuttlebutt from one of the political campaigns in Ward 5. At least one Ward 5 campaign believes Jerry Moore is, in fact, associated with Blong Yang. I'm told Jerry and Brett Buckner "don't get along" so while Jerry may very well be spotted talking politely to Buckner, at length (Jerry is known to be incredibly long winded) that doesn't mean Jerry Moore is WORKING for Buckner.

SO WHAT IS GOING ON, HERE? This blogger has caught the rank odor of Jerry Moore in Ward 5 and that would be the same Jerry Moore who owes me $3,799.69!!!!!!!! from the blogosphere trial of the century.

Somebody, tell me something. Tell me if Jerry Moore is working for one of the campaigns and, if so, which one. If any campaigns wish to disavow association with Jerry Moore (which would be a very good idea) then, please, contact me or comment or something.

BY GOD!!!!!! I will get to the bottom of this. I will find Jerry Moore because when I do, I will find my money.

Brett Buckner, in my opinion, doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning the Fifth Ward City Council seat, but since he's a candidate he's fair game for talking about. A commenter--whose knowledge of Buckner is longer than my attention span directed toward Buckner--posted some links to articles mentioning Buckner's past.

Something about the local NAACP? This is the kind of thing which gets folks like Don Allen all worked up, and Al Flowers, and other folks who are involved in that organization but I confess this blogger doesn't really follow all the twists and turns. Jerome Lance Kingrussell, who was the infamous "Imposter Foster" in the Larry Maxwell mortgage fraud case, which involved stealing the identity of mild-mannered truck driver John Foster and fraudulently purchasing two homes...

Is a fugitive. Yet again. I've lost count of how many times this has happened. The last time he was supposed to serve a long sentence but obviously he didn't. 

It looks like whatever conditions were imposed upon Kingrussell didn't work out so well, because the MN DOC website is showing his status as "Fugitive Apprehend," a matter that was brought to my attention by a reader who fired me an email and asked to remain anonymous.

The MN DOC website shows Kingrussell was admitted on June 6 of 2012, and released on June 11 of this year on a supervised probationary statuts that was expected to last until 2018. Kingrussell's mug shot shows a "Mr. Clean" bald look different than his previous appearance.

Expect to see this man passing forged checks at Indian casinos in the near future.

Or, possibly, working for Brett Buckner's Fifth Ward political campaign.

An anonymous commenter to this blog asserted Jaylin Dubose had been arrested in Chicago and a little digging online confirmed this info. Dubose was arrested October 1, and the photo above is his mug shot for Cook County, Illinois.

Dubose has been wanted for questioning by Minneapolis police in the homicide of Parrish Gray. His status at this time--including whether he is still incarcerated in Chicago or even whether he is still wanted for questioning in the Parrish Gray homicide, is unknown.

Blong Yang Is Winning The Fifth Ward Yard Sign War, While This Blogger Has No Idea What A Brett Buckner Yard Sign LOOKS Like...

To those who live in the Fifth Ward, it's obvious that city council candidate Blong Yang has been winning the yard sign war quite handily. Yang's signs are EVERYWHERE. Even Level Three Sex Offender Peter "Spanky Pete" Rickmyer has a sign in his yard.

Do not mistake that last remark as a criticism of Blong Yang. To my way of thinking, anybody who can make Peter Rickmyer do something useful, like rake leaves, pick up litter, or post a yard sign near a busy intersection, is something of a miracle worker. Though I am mystified why the most notorious sex offender in North Minneapolis supports Blong Yang who, from what I have seen and heard, may be in a dead heat with Ian Alexander as the most anti-sex offender of all the candidates.

As for other candidates in the race, I think I've seen a few Ian Alexander signs, but I don't even know what a Brett Buckner sign looks like. Green Party candidate Kale Severson has been living up to his first name in this race: He's Green, and he's really more of a garnish than an entree. But I have a vague memory of maybe, possibly, seeing one of his signs so that puts Kale slightly ahead of Buckner in the all-important race for next-to-last and the avoidance of total humiliation at the polls ala Lennie Chism. 

If this race were decided upon nothing but yard sign placement, then it's Blong Yang by a landslide. If it were decided upon which candidate is most likely to support turning the proposed Bottineau Transit Line into a groovy vegan co-op, then it's Kale Severson. 

Malik El-Amin Goes To Prison For Robbery, Though Not For Very Long...

This blog broke the story of how Malik El-Amin, involved in what can only be described as a violent crime spree, appears to be linked to the prominent El-Amin family of El-Amin Fish House based on addresses and names associated with property ownership. I've been told repeatedly El-Amin is the son of Imam Makram El-Amin, but I have not confirmed that to my satisfaction.

A commenter to this blog asked for a follow up to the Malik El-Amin story, and (in true reader responsive Johnny Northside fashion) I checked to Minnesota DOC offender locator where, sure enough, Malik's mug shot has been posted as well as his anticipated release date.

El-Amin isn't expected out of prison until February 11, 2016, and then he'll be on supervised release until June 11, 2017. He was convicted of robbery while in possession of a firearm.

This just doesn't seem like a very long sentence. Perhaps Malik had a very good lawyer.

I keep telling the 941 participants in the North Vent Facebook forum to drive around and rack up 911 calls and THAT is how you turn around the neighborhood so decent people can live in peace.

So night before last I was driving around for the specific purpose of making 911 calls and I saw a young man standing in front of the Kemps facility on West Broadway, right about where the "tripping cows" mural used to be before, thankfully, it was painted over. A visitor to the neighborhood wouldn't have noticed this young man, but to somebody who has been a resident for half a decade, now, it was apparent he didn't belong at that particular spot and was up to no good.

There's no bus stop at that location. There's no business entrance. It's not the kind of place where you tell your friends to come and meet you. And as I drove by, he made eye contact with me through the windshield and kind of jerked his head.

Oh, yeah, I thought, he's dealing...

Talisha Nakia Hunt of Duluth is accused of being involved in a horrific murder in which the victim's body being stuffed in a freezer. The body was found in Shorewood by the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department, in a freezer wrapped in plastic and duct tape. Click here for the criminal complaint. 

Jetuan Helen Wheeler was the alleged murderer and Hunt is accused of being an accomplice after the fact.

KARE-11 identifies the victim as Eddie SOLE who was beaten to death with a POLE.

Wheeler's children identified some bloody women's sandals as being the property of Talisha Hunt. An EBT card was also found in the name of Hunt. Surveillance video from Sears shows Hunt and Wheeler purchasing a freezer together. I wish I could have been a fly upon the wall to hear the discussions about "storage capacity."

The North Minneapolis connection to this story took place prior to the discovery of the victim's body, when a wallet was found in an alley in North Minneapolis. Missing from the wallet were the victim's Illinois LINK card, (that's like a food stamp card) debit card and Social Security Card.

Hunt used to live in Harvey, Illinois and bus records show Hunt recently went to Chicago then returned to Duluth.

Johnny Northside would like, once again, to ask Chicago to quit exporting its huddled masses to Minnesota.

There is, however, a woman in North Minneapolis named Diane (last name unknown to this blogger) who has been sighted, repeatedly, with fingernails that appear equal to or possibly exceeding the world record. Photos taken from some distance away have been published, repeatedly, on North Minneapolis Facebook forums but the image above is the first "voluntary" photo coming to this blogger's attention.

This is the price I pay for blogging about street crime, mortgage fraud, sex offenders, strippers who are baby mamas to criminals, and that sort of thing. This is a still photo obtained from video footage captured by one of my security cameras on September 25.

The van, pictured above, was around for two days. It circled my property repeatedly through the alley and then the driver parked out front and was there for hours. Two days in a row. All the windows were tinted.

There's more I could say but suffice to say information about this incident has been reported to a high ranking police contact. I will write more when I know more.

Don Allen of the IBNN blog, who doesn't live in North Minneapolis or own property in our neighborhood but constantly tries to involve himself in North Minneapolis issues, has been banned from North Talk Facebook page. The page is a discussion forum about North Minneapolis issues which has been eclipsed, of late, by the more popular North Vent Facebook page, but remains a popular forum.

Word is Don Allen was banned for his constant race-baiting on the forum.
