Peter "Spanky Pete" Rickmyer, the Level Three Sex Offender who has burdened the court system for years with gibberish-filled filings, is facing a hearing in federal court which could see him fined, sanctioned and/or declared a frivolous litigant.

In FEDERAL court.

Peter has already been declared a "Rule 9" frivolous litigant in Hennepin County District Court. He also faces a judgment of $20,000 held by Michael "Kip" Browne.

A reader sent me this photo taken within the last couple hours across from Farview Park, right near the intersection of 29th and Lyndale. That's where the recent (likely) gang-related triple shooting took place at the Troublesome Triplex of 2925 Lyndale Ave. N.

What on earth is happening at Farview? All my source knows is "heavy crap going down." Readers who know more are encouraged to use these comment threads for long term impact and archiving, or just chat away on North Vent if you feel like spilling your valuable insight and information into a black void where Googlebots never crawl...and then SOMEBODY (that would be me) has to laboriously cull the information from North Vent and make sure it doesn't get lost for those moments when we're trying to document neighborhood stuff and we NEED it.

A high-ranking source confirms JNS blog has the correct Facebook page for the 17-year-old victim of a "not so shocking" triple shooting. Due to the privacy settings of the page, I am unable to access EVERYTHING on the page though I have already rifled and looted the photograph albums.

Somebody (and heaven knows I won't say who) with more access to the page than me forwarded the photo, above, and mentioned that Javar Smith is contemplating taking down his Facebook page because he thinks "feds" are watching.

I don't know if this is a sort of joke he's making in the wake of a general jitteriness felt by many about revelations concerning the NSA, or if Javar really is paranoid that his Facebook postings are being used as evidence of...something. But I have two thoughts on this topic, as follows...

It's been five years since I've seen evidence of the existence of an elite Sanitation Special Forces Unit controlled by the City of Minneapolis, but it appears they staged a lighting raid at 2919 Penn Ave. N., which was the subject of a blog posting just YESTERDAY.

Back in March, this blog reported 2711 Humboldt Ave. N. was being placed on a short leash due to problems at the property. The property had been raided by police in August of 2012, which caused neighbors to take pictures, email the pictures to this blog, and got me digging into the paper trail of who owned the place.

Turns out it's none other than slumlord rights advocate Donald Swensrud, who is active in the notorious Landlord Politics Dot Com website and the Tea Party.

Meranda Lynn Warborg was arrested in July of last year, accused of being involved in trafficking minors in the sex industry. (Click here for criminal complaint) She has already pled guilty. 

The trafficking took place at a Mahmoud Khan rental property, no less, which was 2722 Oliver Avenue North. This fact was mentioned in a Star Tribune story about Khan, click here, if you can stand the little pop ups ads where the Star Tribune keeps reminding you that you've read enough free stories and it's time to "subscribe."

A "press event" is reportedly in the planning stages right now, set to happen some time in the first week of September. Since June of last year, Bank of America has donated 19 properties to the City of Minneapolis through the Twin Cities Community Land Bank. In July, they donated their 20th home which will be rehabilitated by the Greater Metropolitan Housing Corporation (GMHC) to be a specially outfitted home for a disabled veteran.

That home is located at 39 NE 16th Ave. 

While the exact day of the press event has not been announced yet, it is likely that City Council President Barb Johnson will speak at the event. The house is in Diane Hofstede's ward and Hofstede will likely be at the event, too.

The unsolved shooting of three people on the Northside (notice I didn't use the word "shocking") has garnered an enormous amount of media coverage, click here for example, but citizens who actually live  on the Northside instead of just watching Northside tragedies on television would like to know something more than the intersection.

Word from a reliable Northsider (who used media coverage and Google maps to determine the address of the incident) is the shooting took place in front or in obvious proximity to 2925 Lyndale Ave. N., a rental property owned by Epstein Enterprises LLC, 33 George St E #1 St Paul MN 55107.

The entity is apparently owned by one David Epstein, click here for his Linked In profile, where he calls himself "the Realtor who is bringing you the best at Total Freedom Realty." He is a "certified distressed property expert." In other words, part of the slumlording class that is sucking blood from the Northside, converting it to lucre, and lining their bank accounts with the aforementioned filthy, blood stained lucre.

The crime remains unsolved. If anybody wants to talk smack about who did it and why, JNS blog continues to make clear I have no way to trace the IP address of commenters, and that's the damn truth from a blogger notorious for truthfulness.

The alleged trouble all started when a young man, age 12, got locked out of his father's business at 1015 Currie Avenue. That location is right near 1010 Currie Avenue, the Salvation Army Harbor Light Center where every sex offender, no account criminal and unhoused dirtbag seems to end up at least once while passing through Minneapolis.

I mean, god bless the Salvation Army, really, but every time I look through the Hennepin County Jail Roster "1010 Curie Avenue" appears at least a dozen times, and that's on a good day.

So here was the young boy, in the alley, locked outside when a woman appeared...

Wanted Fugitive Octavius Tobias Riddley Is Apprehended, His Address Is 1911 Thomas Ave. N.

The Minnesota DOC hasn't updated its website as of this moment to reflect the fact Octavius Riddley is no longer a wanted fugitive, but was taken into custody on August 17. Riddley has been convicted of selling cocaine. Presumably he became a fugitive by failing to abide by the conditions of his release.

On the jail roster, Riddley's address is listed as 1911 Thomas Ave. N., a homestead owned by somebody with the same surname.

According to a recent police complaint, click here, David L. Lewis (DOB 10/28/94) committed a burglary in Northeast Minneapolis and left a pair of gloves at the scene. DNA from the gloves linked him to the crime.

When police questioned Lewis, he blamed a "friend" who committed the burglary while Lewis acted as "lookout."

Well, it's been quite a while since I won a judgment of $3,799.69 from Jerry Moore, who sued me but then lost on appeal in a lawsuit over "defamation" which ultimately came down to just one sentence. Meranda Jean Erickson (DOB 2/11/84) was present at the recent homicide of fugitive Landon J. Pederson, whose last address was Swift County, Minnesota, but she is NOT charged in his death.

Nitelen Jackson is in prison, partly because he couldn't resist extensively documenting his "thug life" on social media, but his photo albums remain accessible to anybody with a Facebook account. Recently, while updating readers on Nitelen's whereabouts I took a spin through the young man's photographs and found this little treasure, above.

"RIP CORDELL" was the only clue to the identity of the man in the coffin.

Well, given the fact the photo was posted November 2, 2012, and Cordell Quinton Dalton was murdered on the Northside on October 23, it would appear Dalton is the "Cordell" being referenced in the photo caption.

Wow. Pretty lavish funeral arrangements.

Was that paid for with HONEST money, I wonder?

A warrant was served after the murder of Cordell Dalton but, as far as I have heard, there have been no arrests. The guy who killed Cordell is reportedly somebody named "Shawn" who travels between Minneapolis and Chicago. If anybody knows the identity of "Shawn," feel free to drop it anonymously right here on this blog.

Police and prosecutors say that when a girlfriend tried to play "peace maker" between Bardeny and a victim whose initials are V.G., Bardney stabbed V.G with a screw driver.

Darnell Armstrong Threw 53 Grams Of Crack Cocaine Out A Car Window After Confidential Informant Told Police When And Where The Drugs Would Be Arriving, Allegedly...

Darnell Thomas Armstrong has been arrested over 53 grams of crack cocaine. I'm not familiar with the drug, but to me that sounds like a LOT of crack. Police learned the crack would be in transit from a confidential informant, "CI."

According to police, the CI told them "a quantity of crack cocaine and possibly a firearm" would be delivered to the 4300 block of Girard Ave. N. by a black male with a "heavy build and a natural afro." The male would be driving a blue Buick century.

Police Followed A Trail Of Blood To Murder Victim At Minnehaha Park In South Minneapolis...(NOT NORTH MINNEAPOLIS RELATED)

Since I started writing about this story, I will do the story justice and finish it even though this DOES NOT involve North Minneapolis. Oh, how I wish I had to fish around in South Minneapolis to find enough murder to keep my keyboard sticky, but usually that's not the case.

QShawn Oneal Lucas, who spells his name with an apostrophe but I refuse to use it, was arrested on July 19 over an incident that happened July 11 in Minnehaha Park. According to Minneapolis Park Police and the Hennepin County Prosecutor, the victim was stabbed once in the chest and seven times in the back. He suffered a collapsed lung and later died.

The stabbing started with two groups talking smack back and forth. Something was said to some juvenile females and then somebody died in an argument. According to the victim ( before he died, apparently) the argument turned into a robbery.

The three men in custody are the aforementioned Mr. Lucas, Railly Dumarce Runningshield, and Terrance Leaven Norris. The address of Mr. Lucas is unknown or, believe me, I'd be publishing it and looking into the owner of the property.

I should mention The criminal complaint is a rather bloody affair. The officers on the scene followed a trail of blood and then, later, witnesses saw the alleged assailants covered in blood.

Oh, also, the whole incident started with a group shooting off illegal fireworks in the park.

Some people just can't enjoy illegal fireworks without it turning into a big mess.

JNS blog has been trying to determine the identity of the individual charged with killing DeShaun Guilmant. The only information I had, from a media report, is the homicide took place July 19 and an individual had been arrested.

Currently, there is only one person in the Hennepin County Jail who is likely to be the individual involved in the shooting...

DeShaun Guilmant, who died in a North Minneapolis shooting, had an extensive criminal record in exactly and precisely the manner of most (certainly not all) adult victims of homicidal violence in North Minneapolis.

An image search on Google turns up eight different mug shots for Guilmant, not counting the mug shot above. And when I say "eight," I mean eight different instances, not counting side views. He had a tendency to pose with lips pursed, sometimes actually looking like he had something in his mouth.
