How would you like to live next to this unsightly mess? Neighbors are griping on North Vent Facebook forum about 2919 Penn Ave. N., which is owned by Drew Horowitz Investments and the tax payer is Hard Money Partner LLC.
And now a word or two about North Vent Facebook forum...
It is the new hot thing, pretty much supplanting and replacing the North Talk Facebook Forum (click here for story where it figures prominently) which became too politically correct and full of race-baiting discussions about every topic, even if the topic was, for example, pot holes. A critical mass of people have moved away from North Talk and taken their business to North Vent, and now North Vent is the place to be unless you just want to race-bait yourself for the fun of it.
But there is a problem with so much neighborhood revitalization discussion taking place in Facebook forums. This stuff doesn't make its way to search engines. And to reach a broader demographic, to give our discussions meaning, to even FIND our own discussions to reference those discussions again later, it is necessary to be in the "search engine find-able" part of the internet.
Like Johnny Northside blog. Which, by the way, is now up to 3,500 page views PER DAY, thank you very much.
I am not sure how to convince all my Northside neighbors that discussions and information about, for example, the slumlord behind 2919 Penn Ave. N. is "sound and fury signifying (very little)" if the Googlebots can't eat it for lunch and then crap it into search engines. But every now and then, I see information on North Talk and I think...
I can't let this information go to waste.
Think of it as recycling.
