Yet Another Incident At Rental Property Owned By Slumlord Rights Advocate Donald Swensrud, 2711 Humboldt Ave. N.

Back in March, this blog reported 2711 Humboldt Ave. N. was being placed on a short leash due to problems at the property. The property had been raided by police in August of 2012, which caused neighbors to take pictures, email the pictures to this blog, and got me digging into the paper trail of who owned the place.

Turns out it's none other than slumlord rights advocate Donald Swensrud, who is active in the notorious Landlord Politics Dot Com website and the Tea Party.

Well, now there's been ANOTHER incident at the property...

2711 Humboldt Ave. N. Placed On A Short Leash By Minneapolis Police...

It was August of last year when this blog wrote about a police raid on 2711 Humboldt Ave. N. (photo of raid, above) and the surprising paper trail of ownership, which led to Donald G. Swensrud; who is active in the Tea Party and Landlord Politics Dot Com.

There has been a new development at the property. Police have Swensrud on notice (click here for document) that further problems at the property can result in loss of the rental license. Furthermore, it's my understanding neighbors are...

Yesterday morning there was a police raid at 2711 Humboldt Ave. N. in Minneapolis, complete with flash bang grenades, a SWAT team, Animal Control and (my personal favorite) a mobile crime lab. This, unfortunately, is not so unusual as our neighborhood struggles to make itself better, with the police on the leading edge of that fight.

What's notable is what the paper trial on the property revealed...
