Let's face it, this blogger writes about murder a lot.

I believe in a journalistic principal which can be summarized "if it bleeds it leads." If people are literally dying in the street, coverage of that story must be prioritized. Society would be in an even worse situation if people were dying in a distinct geographic area and nobody in the press reported it. By word of mouth, however, the word would get out:

Don't go into The Zone. People get shot dead in the Zone and nobody is quite sure why, so nobody who can afford to stay out of The Zone goes there.

So before I write about anything else, I write about murder.

Which means I write about murder a lot because there's a lot of murder in North Minneapolis. It's unfortunate, but it has also depressed property values to the point bargains can be had, opportunistically, in a real estate market that is warming up.

Those who dare will reap the economical...

Well, I'll leave that aside for a moment. The real estate market doesn't bleed or lead.

Let's get back to murder.

Does anybody recognize the (sarcasm font) upstanding young gentlemen in this photo, BESIDES Javar Smith who appears to be the guy in red, in the center? (End font)

Smith, age 17 but acting more like 13, was the victim of a triple shooting at 2925 Lyndale Ave. N. which was pronounced "shocking" by the mainstream media (MSM).

In June of 2012, while this blogger was stateside but still working my way through the last month of post-Afghanistan active duty, my Northside neighbors were firing off emails about 2925 Lyndale Ave. N., site of a recent NOT SHOCKING AT ALL triple shooting.

As I blogged in my last two postings, click here and also here, there is considerable evidence of  Almighty Black P-Stones ("Moe") gang affiliation by Javar Smith, the 17-year-old victim and VERY LIKELY TARGET of the shooting incident which also wounded a toddler and a pregnant woman.

Today, a Northside neighbor was searching through emails and forwarded the following missive which was fired off by none other than Jeff "Hawthorne Hawkman" Skrenes, as follows...

As "Hawthorne Hawkman" Jeff Skrenes revealed in comments on JNS blog a couple days ago, when the triple shooting happened at 2925 Lyndale Ave. N. his first thought was, "I bet it's that (expletive) triplex."

Hawkman had to hunt around in his large stockpile of photos but, in response to my repeated requests, about an hour ago he sent me a photo showing the back porch of 2925 Lyndale Ave. N. and the letters "GDN."

On December 19, police executed a search warrant at 1901 26th Ave. N. They were looking for Craig Allen Bell and found him in an upstairs bedroom. They also found three SKS assault rifles (different than the three military weapons pictured above, but similar in important ways) and a Luger .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol.

Bell reportedly admitted to being a member of the (Almighty) "Black P Stones" gang, a name which has come up lately in association with a gang war that appears to be taking place in North Minneapolis. Since Bell has a felony drug conviction from 1998, he is prohibited from possessing a weapon, let alone an arsenal. Click here for the criminal complaint.

Speculation About Why Julian "Funny Moe" Anderson Is Called "Funny Moe"

Julian Anderson, known as "Funny Moe" and 15 years old at that time he allegedly participated in the murder-by-gunfire of 5-year-old Nizzel George, has been revealed by this blog to be the second alleged shooter arrested by authorities, but not yet NAMED by authorities nor, for that matter, any other media source.

Obviously, there's no way "Moe" is a nickname for Julian, or for Anderson. So why is Julian Anderson called "Funny Mo?" Well, considering this kid allegedly...
