I wrote some days about about Alonzo McCoy and the rather surprising news he'd been out on the streets this month after his infamous involvement in the shooting of Alisha Neely. More than one person was shooting, and Alonzo was one of him. But police don't think it was HIS bullet that killed McNeely.

In June of 2011, Alonzo Demetrius McCoy was sentenced to 4 years in prison for the murder of 17-year-old Alisha Neely. Headlines screamed FOUR YEARS!!!!

The same headline linked above made it appear he was convicted of murder. But police couldn't link the murderous bullet to this guy's gun, and more than one person was firing when Neely got hit, reportedly. So his conviction involved possessing a weapon of violence or something like that.

Something like THAT following the murder of Alisha Neely.

But I guess four years doesn't really mean four years...
