Anthony John Ellis Pleads Guilty In Face-Slashing Attack On Jon Olson, Park Commissioner...

I have been informed by the Hennepin County Prosecutor that Anthony John Ellis, who slashed the face of Park Commissioner Jon Olson while acting stupid and intoxicated, has pled guilty in the attack. No plea deal was offered; Ellis simply elected to do the right thing and save everybody the trouble of a trial. This is the first solid act of good citizenship I've heard of by Anthony Ellis and I can only hope he rehabilitates himself and emerges a better person. More than once I've been told this action was "out of character" for Ellis.

I have a copy of the criminal complaint against Anthony John Ellis, who allegedly carved up a guy's face for jumping in when Anthony was accosting a female in the parking lot outside T Shoppe Bar, allegedly. Click here for the criminal complaint.

The Pioneer Press story says "the attack happened at a bar" but it's more accurate to say the attack happened out in the parking lot of the bar, though the confrontation between the two men...
