I don't have access to the specifics but everyone at the Jordan Safety Committee thought it was pretty funny. Might be a good article outlining the hazards of dealing with felons.

Yes, it's terrible that another robbery happened in North Minneapolis. But more terrible still is the fact so many people believe Bashir Moghul deserves whatever he gets. I hope the robber had a good time with the money and bought some new venetian blinds. 

Gregory A. Burg Was Smoking Crack In The Bathroom At Cub Foods, Allegedly...

Gregory Anthony Burg, DOB 3/30/54, is accused of smoking crack in the bathroom of Cub Foods at 701 West Broadway. A store employee alerted a police officer, and the officer went into the men's room where he heard "several attempts to light a lighter" and smelled burning crack cocaine. When Burg left the men's room, the officer stopped Burg, frisked him, and found a crack pipe.

In addition, Burg allegedly had 1.0 grams of crack cocaine on him.

It's rare to see somebody charged with "disorderly house" in Minneapolis. I can't remember the last time I saw it on the jail roster, and I check that roster all the time. But I guess it happens, sometimes. It happened to Helen Diana Gurley, DOB 10/23/62, who reportedly lives at 704 Penn Ave. (North) and who is listed on the jailhouse roster as being picked up on a bench warrant for "disorderly house."

Nothing much positive ever seems to happen at 2131 Lyndale Ave. N., arguably the most unsightly house on Lyndale Ave. N., slummy crown jewel in Bashir Moghul's empire of slum.

This blogger has, in past blog postings, written about the Curtains Of Despair which hang in the windows of this house...a small but highly symbolic indication of how bad and chaotic the conditions probably are inside. Predatory offender Carl Lamont Donnell, when jailed, was listed as one occupant of the home. Fairly typical of the way Bashir Moghul screens his tenants. Neighbors living nearby have constantly reported drug dealing, as documented by Hawthorne Hawkman writing as a guest author on this blog.

Well, tonight it appears some other bad thing has happened in association with this property...

Slumlord Bashir Moghul's hovel at 2131 Lyndale Ave. N., where "curtains of dispair" hang in the windows, is the reported home of Carl Lamont Donnell. Keep in mind individuals incarcerated at the jail seem to lie about their addresses all the time, even MAKING UP addresses and somehow that slips by, but what addresses they claim as their home address reveals much.
