THREE Years Since The Death Of Major Topps, And Big-Talking Blogger Don Allen Still Hasn't Delivered The Answers He Promised...

Well, it's becoming kind of a holiday tradition here at Johnny Northside: Every year, around this time, I mention that big-talking blogger Don Allen PROMISED everybody that he'd get to the bottom of the circumstances surrounding the death of Major Topps. Topps was beaten in the basement of a church. Some weeks later, he died, supposedly of causes unrelated to the beating. There was a great deal of whispering about Major Topps which can be adequately described with a single nickname:

MINOR BOTTOMS. 

Let me quote, once again as per the holiday tradition, what Don Allen told everybody in a blog posting dated November 2, 2010...

Somebody in my social circle sent me a link to the Facebook profile of Jerry C. Moore, who appears to be one and the same with Jerry L. Moore. Just like the fraudsters who (along with Jerry) were involved in the mortgage fraud at 1564 Hillside Ave. N., Jerry finds it expedient to make adjustments to his name, in this case a new middle initial.

Jerry Moore sued me for defamation for saying he was "involved" with the mortgage fraud at 1564 Hillside Ave. N, with which he was involved. For a while, I owed Moore a $60,000 judgment. Then the State Court of Appeals reversed and it's Jerry who owes ME, to the tune of $3,799.69. I have been trying to find Jerry, trying to get my money, and I will be turning over internet rocks until I have my money. The latest rock I am looking under is the Facebook profile of Jerry "C" Moore.

That's "C" for "I C you, Jerry Moore."

Oh, and he likes the nickname "J Moe" on Facebook. You would think the former head of a Northside neighborhood association would be reluctant to identify with the nickname "Moe" and all the gang violence associations with "Moe" on the Northside but, well, those of us who knew Jerry well and saw through his smooth veneer always figured Jerry was down with the criminal element.

I can't see Jerry's Facebook profile from my own profile because he has me blocked, however...

"Shakedown Blogger" Don Allen Of IBNN Banned From North Talk Facebook Page...No Sign Of Mourning By North Talk Participants...

Don Allen of the IBNN blog, who doesn't live in North Minneapolis or own property in our neighborhood but constantly tries to involve himself in North Minneapolis issues, has been banned from North Talk Facebook page. The page is a discussion forum about North Minneapolis issues which has been eclipsed, of late, by the more popular North Vent Facebook page, but remains a popular forum.

Word is Don Allen was banned for his constant race-baiting on the forum.

Hey, Don Allen, any more information on what "really happened" in the death of Major Topps? You promised a long time ago you would get to the bottom of it. It's coming up on the third anniversary of your promise.

"Shakedown blogger" Don Allen, who is leading the forlorn "black Republican" charge all by himself most of the time, recently made a bid to become chair of the Minnesota Republican Party.

Behind the scenes, I am following an interesting story about "shakedown blogger" Don Allen. And in the course of this story I heard through the grapevine Don Allen said, "If John Hoff writes ONE WORD about me...!!!!!"

While the Johnny Northside blog has written two articles raising questions about Eric Yusef Mahmoud, the convicted mortgage fraudster who is the founder of SEED Academy/Harvest Prep, blogger Don Allen has been pretty much carrying Mahmoud like a supportive beast of burden.

But for a while I thought, well, that's fine. Don Allen smells money in Eric's pants pockets, so Don Allen will do his thing and, to balance out the universe, I will do my thing. But now I have to raise questions about what Don Allen supposedly knew back in August of this year about alleged test score tampering at Harvest Prep....

I am trying to get all the way to the bottom of the rabbit hole which is this story, but for now what I know for sure and can write is that Lisa Clemons, a former Minneapolis city employee and sister of controversial activist Al Flowers, continues to air allegations that, in summary, say Eric Yusef Mahmoud (SEED Academy/Harvest Prep) ripped off her daycare center and caused its demise.
